I PURCHASED A 2023 F-150 FROM THE AUTONATION DEALERSHIP IN ARLINGTON TEXAS ON 02/10/2026. THE SALESMAN I DEALT WITH WAS FARU ESCOBAR. I FLEW TO TEXAS AND DROVE IT BACK TO ARIZONA THE NEXT DAY. WHEN I A IN ARLINGTON TEXAS ON 02/10/2026. THE SALESMAN I DEALT WITH WAS FARU ESCOBAR. I FLEW TO TEXAS AND DROVE IT BACK TO ARIZONA THE NEXT DAY. WHEN I ARRIVED HOME I WASHED THE TRUCK AND FOUND A ONE INCH BUBBLE IN THE PAINT ON TOP OF THE CAB OF THE TRUCK. I AM NOT A PAINT EXPERT SO I VISITED AN INDEPENDENT AUTO PAINT SHOP TO GET THEIR THOUGHTS ON THE PAINT BUBBLE. THEIR REPRESENTATIVE CAME OUT AND WITHIN THIRTY SECONDS STATED IT WAS A MANUFACTURERS PAINT DEFECT. I PROCEEDED IMMEDIATELY TO THE LOCAL FORD DEALERSHIP, TALKED TO A SERVICE ADVISOR AND HE SENT ME OVER TO THEIR PAINT AND BODY SHOP. THE ESTIMATOR PROMPTLY WROTE UP THE WROTE UP THE ESTIMATE FOR $2400 AND STATED THAT IT WAS A FACTORY DEFECT. ACCORDING TO FARU ESCOBAR THE VEHICLE WAS OWNED BY THE DEALERSHIP AND USED BY THEM UNTIL 04/17/2025, SOLD TO AN INDIVIDUAL, AND THEN IT WAS TRADED BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP IN JANUARY OF THIS YEAR. THE VEHICLE WAS WASHED AND INSPECTED SEVERAL TIMES WHILE IN THE OWNERSHIP OF THE AUTONATION DEALERSHIP. DURING THE BRIEF INSPECTION BEFORE BUYING IT, I INSPECTED THE CAB, THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT, AND THE UNDERSIDE, AND WALKED AROUND THE VEHICLE SEVERAL TIMES. THE VEHICLE APPEARED TO BE IN LIKE NEW CONDITION. FARU MADE IT A POINT TO SHOW ME SOME MINOR SCRATCHES IN THE BED OF THE TRUCK. MY POINT BEING IS THAT SOMEWHERE IN THE LINE OF OWNERSHIP AND VEHICLE INSPECTIONS THE PAINT DEFECT WAS FOUND AND KNOWN ABOUT BY THE THE ARLINGTON DEALERSHIP. SO AT THIS POINT IN TIME I HAVE ASKED THE TUCSON DEALERSHIP TO FIX THE PAINT ISSUE. THEY HAVE HAD MY REQUEST FOR THREE WEEKS NOW AND HAVE NOT GIVEN ME AN ANSWER IF THE PAINT DEFECT WILL BE COVERED UNDER THE 3 YEAR/36,000 MILE WARRANTY. I HAVE CALLED, TEXTED, AND EMAILED FARU ESCOBAR AND DEALERSHIP MANAGERS NUMEROUS TIMES AND NO ONE WILL CALL ME BACK OR RESPOND TO MY COMMUNICATION. IF THE TUCSON DEALERSHIP DOES NOT TAKE CARE OF THE PAINT DEFECT, I FEEL THAT THE ARLINGTON AUTONATION SHOULD HELP ME RECTIFY THE ISSUE. THE SECOND ISSUE I HAVE WITH THE DEALERSHIP IS THAT A SAFETY REPAIR ORDER, NHTSA#25V512, HAD BEEN ISSUED BY FORD ON THIS VEHICLE. I NOTICED THE RECALL NOTICE IN THE PAPERWORK AND ASKED FARU ESCOBAR ABOUT IT, AND HE STATED THAT THE WORK ORDER FOR IT HAD BEEN COMPLETED. I ASKED HIM A SECOND TIME BEFORE SIGNING THE PURCHASE PAPERWORK AND ONCE AGAIN HE ASSURED ME THAT THE SAFETY RECALL WORK HAD BEEN COMPLETED. WHEN I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE TUCSON DEALERSHIP THEY INDICATED THAT THE RECALL WORK HAD NOT BEEN DONE, AND THAT THE PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE YET. I CALLED THE ARLINGTON AUTONATION SERVICE DEPARTMENT AND TALKED TO AN ADVISOR NAMED JULIAN AND HE VERIFIED THAT THE WORK HAD NOT BEEN COMPLETED. SO FARU ESCOBAR LIED TO ME MORE THAN ONCE WHEN I QUESTIONED HIM ABOUT THE RECALL ISSUE. SO NOW I HAVE A VEHICLE THAT I PLANNED ON DRIVING ON A 6000 MILE TRIP THIS SUMMER THAT MAY NOT BE SAFE TO DRIVE!! AND I HAVE A PAINT DEFECT THAT I MAY HAVE TO PAY FOR OUT OF MY POCKET!! THE ARLINGTON FORD DEALERSHIP LIED AND DECEIVED ME ABOUT THE CONDITION OF THIS VEHICLE. Also, as of today I have not received my title and license from Arizona Motor Vehicle. How do I know that the Arllington Autonation paid my sales tax and license fees? More
I came in just to get a new key made and it took about 2 hours and then the price was honestly insane for one key it was $400 which is crazy to me.
