The Service Department was overwhelmed by customers waiting. I brought in my jeep for a battery replacement. It took 15 days for them to even look at it let alone replace the battery. Excuses like waiting. I brought in my jeep for a battery replacement. It took 15 days for them to even look at it let alone replace the battery. Excuses like short on Technicians, staff etc... is unacceptable. They need to elevate this to corporate if that is the case or shut down the service department. They could not provide me with a Loaner vehicle like in other dealers, so a rental vehicle at personal expense became expensive. I will not go back to this dealer and recommend against it. As a Disabled Veteran it was a tremendous inconvenience to me and felt poorly treated. More
I would like to be as constructive as possible but due to the way you handle the business it's almost impossible. I also don't want my thoughts to be taken against a person. Having my Jeep service at Auto the way you handle the business it's almost impossible. I also don't want my thoughts to be taken against a person. Having my Jeep service at AutoNation Pembroke Pines is by far THER WORST EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE. 1st. I sent an email to let you know my needs (to repair the wiper water pump), but you never replied, not even after my 2 or 3 emails and a couple of phone calls. Almost 2 weeks ago I decided to drop the car off on Monday and I was informed that due to whatever reason, the car was going to be sitting there for 3-5 days before the technician touches it. I asked if it was possible to drop it later that week to which they replied, that it was management policies and if I didn't like them I could take my Jeep elsewhere. The best part is that after the whole week they didn't fix the pump! They offered me to bring the car back next Monday that due to the "misunderstanding" they were going to fix it the same day ....... Guess what? it's Thursday afternoon and nothing. More
I brought my car in for a warranty repair related to paint. The process was a little frustrating because when I brought it to the dealership they said I had to take it to another dealer for the work. Th paint. The process was a little frustrating because when I brought it to the dealership they said I had to take it to another dealer for the work. That was fine, so I drive it over to have it looked at, however when they can to see me they said I had to start the process at my dealership. Now I had to go back to where I started so they could create an RO for the work. Then I had to go back one more time to the other dealer to have the estimate done. I felt this was a lot of back and forth that was not necessary, especially since the two locations were not that close to each other. My service advisor did do a good job at communicating when the work was initiated and did provide a loaner vehicle since the repair would only be for one day. My only real complaint is that every time I called the service department for a status on my vehicle, no one EVER answered the phone. I also tried calling the receptionist for assistance which also tried to transfer me to service; again no one answered the phone. I finally had to call the sales department to maybe speak to a manager; that was not much better since I never got to speak to anyone. I wish I could say this was my first negative interaction with service since every time before this; which was 2 previous cases and neither time I was able to speak to a service advisor. I finally had to drive to the dealership and ask for my vehicle in person which turned out it was ready but now I'm stuck wit the loaner and my own vehicle. Thankfully I was able to leave the loaner there and the agency would come get it. Overall the work was done great, my issue is with communication once I left my vehicle in there possession. I understand they get busy but no communication is not acceptable. They should think about an answering service, voicemail, or a dedicated service receptionist if they are that busy. More
