BUYER BEWARE!!! B-U-Y-E-R BEWARE!!!! PLEASE SHOP ELSEWHERE FOR YOUR NEW VEHICLE!!! My spouse and I were in need of a pick-up truck in order to pull a custom-built B-U-Y-E-R BEWARE!!!! PLEASE SHOP ELSEWHERE FOR YOUR NEW VEHICLE!!! My spouse and I were in need of a pick-up truck in order to pull a custom-built concession trailer. ON BLACK FRIDAY, 11-25-16 we were researching “Black Friday” deals on new and used Dodge Ram 1500. I called Autonation Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram North Phoenix inquiring about a 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 they had for say on “True Car” for 19,000. The first salesperson I spoke to was named Jason. Jason was the first to confirm the specs on the truck and stated that it would fit my needs as far as it’s ability to tow the amount of weight I needed. I asked him to have the key in hand as I lived all the way in Buckeye and I didn’t want to make the journey if they did not have the specific vehicle I needed. Jason promised to call back as soon as he had the key in hand. Needless to say we never heard from Jason the salesperson again but decided to drive for an hour to Autonation Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram North Phoenix in order to get a good deal on the same pick-up truck they had advertised on their website. We decided to rush to dealership with our “Pre-Approval” from our chosen credit union in hopes we could “sign and drive” that evening. Once we arrived to Autonation-North Phoenix we were greeted by a sales person named RIANNA ARAGON. in the beginning she seemed extremely nice, patient, and knowledgable which are things that are typically positive in a sales specialist. We took the car for a test drive and confirmed all the specs with Rianna who was reading the vehicle information from a computer print out I assumed was provided by the car dealership. After we being extremely low balled for our trade-in leaving us 7,000 in the hole we decided to proceed with the transaction believing that we were still getting a great deal on a truck that could serve the intended purpose as well as serve as a secondary family vehicle. Six hours later we walked away seemingly pleased with our new vehicle without a super sour taste in our mouth. Two weeks later as we prepared to drive to Tennessee to pick up our custom trailer from the warehouse and then we were informed by the warehouse manager that the current vehicle in our possession that we had purchased from Autonation Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram North Phoenix was infact not able to pull the trailer and according to protocol they could not release the trailer without it being hooked up to the proper equipment. I was flabbergasted and called Autonation-North Phoenix and was transferred to my previous salesperson RIANNA ARAGON and was told it was my responsibility to be informed about the vehicle I was purchasing and her only job was to facilitate the sale! I am by no means an expert on pick-ups other than what can be found on google and I expect like most consumers for the salespeople who work for a company that specializes in selling this brand and trim to know the specs on the specific models that they are selling! I was beginning to get irate and asked to be transferred to a manager that confirmed there had been a mix-up and the specs were listed incorrectly in the system causing the confusion about the towing capacity. The manager, DAN STEWART, seemed to take responsibility for the situation and offered to take the truck back and get us into another one comparable in price that fit our needs. After doing a little digging I came across a 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 V-8 that was deeply discounted due to the year end sales promotion for a price of approximately 25,000. I confirmed with Dan that this vehicle was in stock and the price was valid before making the hour drive back to the dealership. Once we got back to the dealership we were helped by another salesperson named Trisha who was very sympathetic to our situation and pulled out all of the stops to check and double check that the new vehicle were were forced to purchased would be able to fit our needs. Surprisingly once we got to the financing portion the total of vehicle including incentives as well as my “family” discount came out to about 34,000 which is significantly more that the price they had advertised on their site of approximately 25,000!. The manager Dan, self-righteously explained that he was infact doing us a favor by taking the truck back and putting us in to a discounted new vehicle without even empathizing with the fact that we initally came to them looking for a fair-priced used vehicle that was within budget but are now forced to either keep the useless truck (they have already added our trade-in into their inventory) or pay an additional 10,000+ for a new vehicle that was useable but far outside our budget. The difference in payments was a whopping 120.00! The only party that benefited from this transaction was Autonation Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram North Phoenix as they now have our old truck, or trade-in, and have now forced us into a sale of a new truck that we did not need! DO NOT SHOP AT THIS DEALERSHIP AND SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE AND SHOP ELSEWHERE! ALL THE SALESPEOPLE ARE UNDERTRAINED AND LIARS JUST LOOKING TO MAKE A DEAL WITHOUT CONSIDERING THEIR CUSTOMERS NEEDS! WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER VEHICLE FROM THIS DEALER THEY WILL LIE TO YOU FROM PRICING TO TRADE-IN VALUES TO EVEN THE “SOFT” PULLING YOUR CREDIT! EVEN IF YOU COME WITH YOUR OWN FINANCING THEY WILL STILL ILLEGALLY SEND YOUR CREDIT TO MULTIPLE FINANCING COMPANIES WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION AND TANK YOUR CREDIT. NOTHING BUT LIARS AND CHEATERS!!! WE ARE NOW OUT 15,000 DOLLARS (PRICE OF NEW VEHICLE AND LOSS ON THE TRADE-IN) AND AM ACCUMULATING STORAGE FEES EVERYDAY WE HAVE NOT GONE TO PICK THE CONCESSION TRAILER! I WILL BE REPORTING THIS DEALERSHIP TO THE B.B.B AND THE STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL! More

Apparently a 36 month free replacement on a battery doesn't qualify for a battery that's a year and a half old that just died on me. Told one thing by one person, something else by another. Not to mention the hour and 45 min oil change with appointment made a week in advance. Bought a battery at Costco. They stand behind their word. More

Going downhill The past couple years I have used AutoNation Dodge to purchase and do all the repairs on my vehicles. The last couple years there have been a lot of c The past couple years I have used AutoNation Dodge to purchase and do all the repairs on my vehicles. The last couple years there have been a lot of changes to the service department which are not good. The new service manager there has changed the way they operate to the point that they don't operate. The last couple times I've taken my car in I have had more stuff found that did not need to be done than what I actually took the car in for. 45 days ago I took my car in for a horrible gas smell they said it was a bad gas And replaced it. The car also went in for a noise in the air conditioner that I knew was a actuator for that heat door, that was repaired. However while it was there in their inspections they found metal in the power steering fluid and said that the power steering rack needed to be replaced but it was on backorder. A couple of days ago the gas smell was so bad coming from my car that it made my wife and two grandchildren sick in the car. My wife said she would not drive a car anymore which I can understand. So I took the car in after trying to get a hold of the service writer that I have used there for a long time and never got a call back after I left messages. None of the other service writers that were there bothered to tell me that my service writer was out sick and that nobody else was handling his work so my car sat there for 2 1/2 days and I never got a call, again left messages no call back. So I went to the dealership and took my car back and proceeded to go straight to another dealership. I got a ride home in their courtesy shuttle which took all of 20 minutes the wait and the trip as I was unlocking my front door the dealership was calling me to tell me that the car would be ready early afternoon that they had found the problem and fixed it. While they had the car they also checked the power steering and said there was no metal in the fluid that my rack was operating properly and there was no problem with it. I have lost all faith in AutoNation Dodge and will not return there. There has been such a turnover in personnel in the service department from the manager on down and so many changes that nobody there seems to know what is going on or what to do. It is a shame that it is come to this because after being a very loyal customer for over 12 years I have no problem in finding somewhere else to take my vehicles. You know you would think that after reading a few of these reviews they might figure out that what they're doing in their service department is not working figured out guys if I treated my customers the way I was treated last two times I was there I would be out of business. Bruce was my first contact a few weeks before I made this purchase. I had originally wanted a used truck they had advertised, but it was gone by the time I called (because they made someone a great deal). Bruce then sent me an invoice on a brand new truck and it was such a great deal that I decided to get it. I was waiting for my house re-fi to close so I would have a good down payment. Bruce told me not to worry that they had several of these vehicles in stock and I didn't have to worry that it would be gone before I got my money and that I could call him when I had the money. And then he did exactly what he said. He didn't bother me with pointless contacts. When I got the money I went to the dealership and got the truck of my dreams. Bruce wasn't available but Sales Associate, Eric Ledger walked me thru the rest of the process. He is very knowledgeable about the Cummins engine and pointed out the many extras he was able to get on the truck and still stay with in my budget. Every morning when I look at this truck in my driveway I get misty eyed cause it will make so many adventures possible with my family.. I'm very happy with this truck and it was a great car buying expierence. Dustin was the finance guy and he was very patient and explained every line and every number on the contract. I'm an accountant so l like to read every line and trace numbers between documents and Dustin helped me no matter how late we were there. (we left around 10:30pm) More
