Untrustworthy, Horrible Follow-Through, Bad Experience I will NEVER again purchase another vehicle from AutoNation Jeep North Phoenix on Bell Road off the I-17. The Finance department is NOT Trustworthy. T I will NEVER again purchase another vehicle from AutoNation Jeep North Phoenix on Bell Road off the I-17. The Finance department is NOT Trustworthy. This was the worst vehicle purchase experience I ever had. I would NEVER recommend them anyone I know. I would not even recommend them to any I hate! More
Terrible Customer Service @ AutoNation What a pathetic excuse of a service department ! "Customer Service" is more like, "Bend over and grab your ankles". I've never seen any customer servi What a pathetic excuse of a service department ! "Customer Service" is more like, "Bend over and grab your ankles". I've never seen any customer service department, in any business, with the sheer utter contempt for its customers, that these jokers have. My wife dropped off her Dodge pickup for a recall on Thursday night. Maureen was the service writer, and Maureen told my wife that she would call my wife on Friday when the vehicle was done. My wife never received a call back on Friday, so she called and left a voicemail in the afternoon to see if the truck was ready, but no one returned the call. We decided to wait until Saturday morning, and the no communication from Auto Nation continued. When my wife FINALLY got through to a live person on Saturday early morning, the person told her, that the repair order for the truck had not been updated in the computer system, since it was originally entered on Thursday and would make sure that a return phone call to us would be a priority. With the revelation that there was no computer update, we had no way of knowing if the truck was finished or not, and never got that elusive call back. By late morning, decided to head up there. A manager in the service department approached us, and I shared the events and my frustration, and he didn't have anything to say and didn't want to talk to me. It appears that he must hear this all the time. Maureen came over, told us our truck was ready and that she had called my wife on Friday morning to tell her the truck was ready. Funny, my wife never received a call. I wonder whose name was on the "voicemail" that Maureen allegedly called ??? When I shared my frustrations with Maureen about not being able to get in touch with a live person in service, she told us that for "next time", she would give us the "secret" phone number to get in touch with her. If a business has to use a "secret phone number" knowing that no one will answer the main number, their days are numbered. If Auto Nation actually cared and paid attention to taking care of the customers in the first place when they bring their vehicles in for service, then they wouldn't need to use the internet to try to do damage control. What a pitiful excuse for a business. With this kind of service, there is NO WAY I'd ever buy a car from these people who are only interested in the money they make and not taking care of their customers. More
No time for follow up questions after the sale. Last week I bought a Ram 1500 and put down $20, 000 cash. I needed help for a simple product knowledge question. 4 phone calls over a one week time Last week I bought a Ram 1500 and put down $20, 000 cash. I needed help for a simple product knowledge question. 4 phone calls over a one week time were not even returned and the receptionist got mad at me for finally asking for a live person. I bought my wife's new Towne and Country last year at Larry Miller, 30 miles closer to where I live and they continually have followed up with my wife to make sure that she is happy. My advise, avoid the United Airlines type of customer respect that Autonation has and deal with a dealership that supports the community and, perhaps more important, their customers. More
Sales OK but Follow-up Customer service bad Sales: I researched extensively online and already knew the exact truck I wanted. I put out my specs to all dealerships (Dodge) in the Phoenix metro Sales: I researched extensively online and already knew the exact truck I wanted. I put out my specs to all dealerships (Dodge) in the Phoenix metro area. AutoNation was one of two dealerships that was willing to quote me outright without so many tricks. They came out on top so I purchased from them. They made the sales process fairly easy. We haggled a bit over the financing rate but 4 hours of pain in the showroom solved that to my satisfaction. I sold my vehicle to them and they matched the price I was quoted by CarMax. After Sales: This was a completely different story. First issue (not a big deal): They forgot to put an antenna on my vehicle when I drove away. I was in Phoenix the next weekend and picked up the antenna. I live in northern AZ so I have to make a 1.75 hr. trip to do anything in Phoenix. Second issue (bigger deal): Because I just moved to AZ and live in an extended stay, the dealership found it hard to "verify" my home address. This process took weeks and many calls. In the end, the finance company accepted the proof I offered the dealership without issue. Besides my wasted time, this process caused my temporary tag to expire because AutoNation Finance doesn't communicate with AutoNation Registration to avoid these issues apparently. So another 2 calls and about 1 hr wasted and they renewed my temporary tag. Third issue (bigger deal for me): AutoNation was supposed to register my new vehicle with my Veteran plates. However, they have registered my new vehicle with a new plate! Two calls have gone unanswered over 3 days. This issue remains unsolved. Admittedly, my situation is slightly out of the ordinary but my issue is that AutoNation is making very little effort to right their wrong. I will probably end up resolving this on my own at my further expense! I rated this dealership "fair" because I don't generally like auto dealerships and I got a decent price. More

BUYER BEWARE!!! B-U-Y-E-R BEWARE!!!! PLEASE SHOP ELSEWHERE FOR YOUR NEW VEHICLE!!! My spouse and I were in need of a pick-up truck in order to pull a custom-built B-U-Y-E-R BEWARE!!!! PLEASE SHOP ELSEWHERE FOR YOUR NEW VEHICLE!!! My spouse and I were in need of a pick-up truck in order to pull a custom-built concession trailer. ON BLACK FRIDAY, 11-25-16 we were researching “Black Friday” deals on new and used Dodge Ram 1500. I called Autonation Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram North Phoenix inquiring about a 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 they had for say on “True Car” for 19,000. The first salesperson I spoke to was named Jason. Jason was the first to confirm the specs on the truck and stated that it would fit my needs as far as it’s ability to tow the amount of weight I needed. I asked him to have the key in hand as I lived all the way in Buckeye and I didn’t want to make the journey if they did not have the specific vehicle I needed. Jason promised to call back as soon as he had the key in hand. Needless to say we never heard from Jason the salesperson again but decided to drive for an hour to Autonation Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram North Phoenix in order to get a good deal on the same pick-up truck they had advertised on their website. We decided to rush to dealership with our “Pre-Approval” from our chosen credit union in hopes we could “sign and drive” that evening. Once we arrived to Autonation-North Phoenix we were greeted by a sales person named RIANNA ARAGON. in the beginning she seemed extremely nice, patient, and knowledgable which are things that are typically positive in a sales specialist. We took the car for a test drive and confirmed all the specs with Rianna who was reading the vehicle information from a computer print out I assumed was provided by the car dealership. After we being extremely low balled for our trade-in leaving us 7,000 in the hole we decided to proceed with the transaction believing that we were still getting a great deal on a truck that could serve the intended purpose as well as serve as a secondary family vehicle. Six hours later we walked away seemingly pleased with our new vehicle without a super sour taste in our mouth. Two weeks later as we prepared to drive to Tennessee to pick up our custom trailer from the warehouse and then we were informed by the warehouse manager that the current vehicle in our possession that we had purchased from Autonation Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram North Phoenix was infact not able to pull the trailer and according to protocol they could not release the trailer without it being hooked up to the proper equipment. I was flabbergasted and called Autonation-North Phoenix and was transferred to my previous salesperson RIANNA ARAGON and was told it was my responsibility to be informed about the vehicle I was purchasing and her only job was to facilitate the sale! I am by no means an expert on pick-ups other than what can be found on google and I expect like most consumers for the salespeople who work for a company that specializes in selling this brand and trim to know the specs on the specific models that they are selling! I was beginning to get irate and asked to be transferred to a manager that confirmed there had been a mix-up and the specs were listed incorrectly in the system causing the confusion about the towing capacity. The manager, DAN STEWART, seemed to take responsibility for the situation and offered to take the truck back and get us into another one comparable in price that fit our needs. After doing a little digging I came across a 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 V-8 that was deeply discounted due to the year end sales promotion for a price of approximately 25,000. I confirmed with Dan that this vehicle was in stock and the price was valid before making the hour drive back to the dealership. Once we got back to the dealership we were helped by another salesperson named Trisha who was very sympathetic to our situation and pulled out all of the stops to check and double check that the new vehicle were were forced to purchased would be able to fit our needs. Surprisingly once we got to the financing portion the total of vehicle including incentives as well as my “family” discount came out to about 34,000 which is significantly more that the price they had advertised on their site of approximately 25,000!. The manager Dan, self-righteously explained that he was infact doing us a favor by taking the truck back and putting us in to a discounted new vehicle without even empathizing with the fact that we initally came to them looking for a fair-priced used vehicle that was within budget but are now forced to either keep the useless truck (they have already added our trade-in into their inventory) or pay an additional 10,000+ for a new vehicle that was useable but far outside our budget. The difference in payments was a whopping 120.00! The only party that benefited from this transaction was Autonation Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram North Phoenix as they now have our old truck, or trade-in, and have now forced us into a sale of a new truck that we did not need! DO NOT SHOP AT THIS DEALERSHIP AND SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE AND SHOP ELSEWHERE! ALL THE SALESPEOPLE ARE UNDERTRAINED AND LIARS JUST LOOKING TO MAKE A DEAL WITHOUT CONSIDERING THEIR CUSTOMERS NEEDS! WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER VEHICLE FROM THIS DEALER THEY WILL LIE TO YOU FROM PRICING TO TRADE-IN VALUES TO EVEN THE “SOFT” PULLING YOUR CREDIT! EVEN IF YOU COME WITH YOUR OWN FINANCING THEY WILL STILL ILLEGALLY SEND YOUR CREDIT TO MULTIPLE FINANCING COMPANIES WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION AND TANK YOUR CREDIT. NOTHING BUT LIARS AND CHEATERS!!! WE ARE NOW OUT 15,000 DOLLARS (PRICE OF NEW VEHICLE AND LOSS ON THE TRADE-IN) AND AM ACCUMULATING STORAGE FEES EVERYDAY WE HAVE NOT GONE TO PICK THE CONCESSION TRAILER! I WILL BE REPORTING THIS DEALERSHIP TO THE B.B.B AND THE STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL! More

Apparently a 36 month free replacement on a battery doesn't qualify for a battery that's a year and a half old that just died on me. Told one thing by one person, something else by another. Not to mention the hour and 45 min oil change with appointment made a week in advance. Bought a battery at Costco. They stand behind their word. More
