I had an appointment, on Monday August 29 for the check engine light, they were backed up it stayed at the shop until September 7 and they still didn’t fix it. We brought our car in initially for battery replacement, however an additional light came on also so we asked for the entire car to be looked over to be sure everything else was good. After spending hundred however an additional light came on also so we asked for the entire car to be looked over to be sure everything else was good. After spending hundreds of additional dollars on items that we were told was necessary we left with the same warning light still on. We were told it would automatically turn off after being driven, however that never happened and few days later the check engine light was now on. We had to bring it back in which meant missing more work & paying for more rideshare rides to get to and from the dealer as they no longer offer courtesy shuttle or loaner vehicles. Our biggest issue is the lack of listening & proper concern from our advisor when we kept telling her our car issues & the fact that the proper check was not done the first time we brought it in even though they had it overnight. When someone's main source of transportation is down it is obviously stressful but our advisor had no empathy for the situation that was made worse on the part of the dealership not doing what we asked the first time. I have always taken my vehicle directly to a dealership for any service as I felt that was the most trusted option. I am no longer confident in that theory. More
Initially I was a little annoyed because I was not receiving any updates and I had to be the one to make the call regarding the status of my vehicle. If the dealership wasn't able to get to my vehicl receiving any updates and I had to be the one to make the call regarding the status of my vehicle. If the dealership wasn't able to get to my vehicle yet due to them being busy that is fine but I would have liked for them to have kept me updated and simply say that instead of me wondering and finally calling a few times to get the status myself. Once they did start working on it I did get the necessary updates and the experience pretty much did a 180. The video they sent with the tech explaining on camera everything they checked, corrective action, and recommendations for additional services was fantastic! All dealerships nation wide should have this as it really creates more transparency than going completely by what your service advisor is relaying to you. Not to say that the service advisor isn't being forthcoming on what they are communicating but that extra piece with feedback from the technician is what customers really need and should expect. As customers we just want root cause so we can get it fixed and be on our way. I will definitely be making this location in North Fort Worth my new home base. More
