This repair was done under warranty. Did an on-line schedule to have my blower motor replaced due to noisy bearings (2 year old Grand Cherokee). Software gave me an appointment date and time, approximate cost for the part and labor, and allowed me to chose to wait for the fix. On time arrival, the service advisor told me it would take 2-3 days to repair. I had no way to leave it and insisted on waiting since I had scheduled that option on their web site. I was told it could be 3-4 hours because they would have to evacuate the A/C. (This was absolute BS for replacing a blower motor.) I agreed to wait. Just over 4 hours the service advisor said that it was a bad blower but there were none in stock and 5-10 days to get one. I was told not to call her; she would call me. 3 weeks later I started leaving her messages for an update. No returned calls. I tried calling the parts department to see if they had any inventory. None on hand but they could have one in 2 days, but that I could try another, named, AutoNation because they had 6 in stock. I then called and spoke with a service manager & asked if there was any chance of having this repair done. I did receive a call that day from the original service advisor who told me that she was buying the part from a sister AutoNation and would call when it arrived. This was after she told me that other dealers would never sell them parts. Called the following day saying that the part had arrived and scheduled me for an early AM appt. Sat in the waiting room an hour before she told me that the part was not in the box, it was a big piece of metal. Went home and waited for another call. The final fix took 5 weeks. More

I asked if I could drop off my vehicle early over the weekend, Saturday specfically, so I was not rushing to drop of my kids or be late to work on Monday. They happily accomodated my request. A little while after I dropped off , less than a hour, Don from the service team called to let me know they had accessed my vehicle. He confirmed what I had assummed was the issue, battery needed to be replaced. Additionally he let me know that they would be able complete everything that same day, including the oil change and tire rotation I needed as well. This was unexpected as my appointment was techinically scheduled for Monday, totally made my day! Thank you Don and team! More
I have taken my car in 5 times in the last 8 months for the exact same issue. Rather than taking the time to investigate and look up what the problem is, the techs have just installed the same part over a the exact same issue. Rather than taking the time to investigate and look up what the problem is, the techs have just installed the same part over and over hoping it fixes the problem. It got so bad that a special engineering unit from the parent company had to finally get involved. They keep my car a week at a time, they don’t have anyone to pick me up, communication only happens when it’s convenient for them, and this last time I picked up the car, which ofcourse wasn’t fixed due to they don’t have the part, they tell me I have to pay a warranty deductible to warranty the part of which is covered in the warranty. Why do I need a warranty for my warranty? Oh and the problem still isn’t fixed More
