I didn't like that they added reconditioning fees on the advertised sale price. If dealer adds recondition fees , they need to show what they did. Replace oils, get a second key fab, flush transmission, state inspection, etc. They cut half of the reconditioning fees but at the end I end up paying slightly more of what the car was advertised. I wish they were giving me a report if they really had reconditioned the car and a second key fab, so I dont have to take it to the dealer to do the same things over. More
2016 Ram ecodiesel has a recall related to the High pressure fuel pump. I brought the truck in for a different recall and a "no start", (truck was trying to start, but appeared to be not getting any fu pressure fuel pump. I brought the truck in for a different recall and a "no start", (truck was trying to start, but appeared to be not getting any fuel). The mechanic replaced the low pressure fuel pump ( parts not available to correct the high pressure pump recall ) and changed the oile for $2600. I had the truck back 1 day after a month in your shop only to have tge identical problem reoccur. Mechanic then found a burnt fuse that he said was causing the intermittent "no start". I have now had the truck for 5 days and it has not failed to start so far. I am very disappointed that I paid $2600 to ultimately get a fuse replaced and not correct a recall related to the fuel system, which is what the trouble was. Though I am not a mechanic, I am fairly knowledgeable about vehicles. I am very disappointed that it cost me $2600 to replace a simple fuse and not correct a recall that could very well be the problem. I am not confident at all the problem is corrected at this point and feel certain this will have a no start again at some point and leave me stranded. More
