We Purchased a Ram 1500 from this dealership on March 20, 2023. My stepson drove off with the vehicle, we came back the next day and the dealership renegged on the deal that was agreed to. Hassle #1, after several escalations and speaking to several managers it was resolved and they re-sold the vehicle to us. We handled the financing on April 1st, and my step son needed 3 more trips to the dealership to get temporary tags as the ones on the vehicle expired, Hassle #4, 5, 6, We Made about 15 more calls over the next 4 months to get our NJ Plates after the temporary tags expired for a 2nd 3rd and 4th time. This is also complicated by the fact that when we call the main number of the dealership the person answering the phone never connects us with the last person that was handling us. In addition the finance manager and the salesman are no longer their and each time we called we have to go through this elaborate explanation why 4 months later we don't have plates. I've made 5 car payments and the vehicle now has 9,000 miles and we don't have plates. Oh, also we came to the dealership twice to get temporary plates and even though we were promised tags that person that promised them wasn't there to provide them. My stepson's apartment is downtown Houston 45 minutes away from Katy. What a hassle. Some time in late may the dealership requested that I be added to my wifes insurance as a requirement of the bank financer. Which was asked answered and performed the same day and the insurance card was forwarded, that day. Ive tried reaching out to the general manager to remedy this even calling corporate Autonation, that is useless and only succeeded in getting everyone upset. Its 4 months to the date that we purchased the vehicle, our 4th temporary tags have expired and I have to resort to memorializing this experience So In closing, I can't provide a rating of this dealership low enough that would explain the level of frustration false promises, lies and inappropriate delays associated with the simple transaction of purchasing a vehicle and getting out of state plate in the state it needed to be registered in. I can only advise the potential buyer to stay far away from this dealership. In my lifetime I have purchased about 15 cars and this transaction continues to be the longest, most difficult, and the most hassles of any. If I would grade them I would give the a F-. Oh After hearing all this, when I asked the new financing manager for the name of the general manager, she would not provide his last name. Its 4 months to the day we purchased the vehicle, the temp dealer plates have expired. I would appreciate a call back from Corporate to discuss this in detail. They are not responsive in the service department at all. I spent 2 months trying to get warranty service completed. I had to hound the service rep he never reached out once on his own accord. As always my vehicle was serviced without problems. I waited and it took about 1 hour as I was told it would take. Service completed and vehicle washed and returned to me. Great!
