Forgotten in the waiting area I had a 10:00 am appointment with the Service Department to have a Recall part replaced. I arrived at 9:50 am and was told it would take 1 to 1.5 hou I had a 10:00 am appointment with the Service Department to have a Recall part replaced. I arrived at 9:50 am and was told it would take 1 to 1.5 hours to complete. I remained in the showroom/break area and used the restroom once(<10 min). Around 12:00 pm I wandered what might be the delay but I didn't want to be the "impatient customer". I thought perhaps the mechanics were backed up or it was just taking longer than they expected to complete the job. Still, it would have been thoughtful if they would have checked in with me and let me know of the delay. So I wait... At 1:00 pm, I get a drink from the soda machine in the customer bay and notice my vehicle sitting there. I step inside the service area and after a moment, someone asks me if I have been helped. I state that I brought my vehicle in over three hours ago and the service consultant that took my keys earlier, spun around from her desk and said, "Oh, I went to notify you ealier (probably when I was in the bathroom) and then I must have forgotten about you!" When I signed the printout, I noticed it was time marked at 10:42 am! So, she looked for me once and let me sit out there more than 2 hours. So much for being the patient customer. I don't want to drop her name but I hope that she will be more diligent than 'one check and forget' in the future. More

My experience with Hilton Head Chrysler Jeep Dodge has been excellent. I have leased one Jeep Liberty, purchased one Jeep liberty and have leased 2 Chrysler 200's. The service department is very good however a little pricy for repairs and extra service. But with the results I have no complaints. Overall I would give the Dealership a five star rating and service Department a 4.5 More

We purchased a used vehicle from the dealership in November. We got quite a bit of help in the hunt and I took 2 nights and 2 visits before deciding to purchase. Only complaints are that we were told during test drive that the car was still under warranty for 20k more miles, only to find out it when we went to purchase that it was not. We ended up purchasing an extended warranty, which they did not mark up much, but it was still not in our original budget and upset me. The vehicle we purchased ended up having some issues which have become apparent over a few months of driving. Speaker broken, windshield fluid dispensor broken, oil leak under the body, oil filters and bolts are wrong/mismatched, engine in vehicle is not the dodge 2006 like the car model, which was a HUGE and unwelcomed surprise to us. These things were not mentioned to us during purchase and have resulted in additional, unexpected expenses. More
I was helped by Edgar. I was looking at a 2001 Jeep Compass Latitude. From the beginning he was very professional and knowledgeable. I worked in GA until 7pm on Tues night and we drove up after work to finalize the paperwork on the new car. Everyone was willing to help and stay late to get us set up with our new car. We had a great experience and would recommend these guys to anyone! More
