I purchased my 2016 Suburban here in 2015. This is the only service center I will use. Their service is outstanding. They are fair, honest and trustworthy. If an employee makes a mistake, they take respon only service center I will use. Their service is outstanding. They are fair, honest and trustworthy. I took my 2020 Chevy Spark to have it's oil changed and the inpsections done for its 22500 checkup done. First off, I made the appointment a couple of weeks ago/ahead of time but had to reschedule because the inpsections done for its 22500 checkup done. First off, I made the appointment a couple of weeks ago/ahead of time but had to reschedule because of work conflicts. When I called the dealer service scheduling department I orinigally told them I also wanted to have the cabin filter changed and would provide my own filter, however when I called to re-schedule the appointment I specifically told the lady I had changed my mind and wanted them to take off the cabin filter change as I had thought about it and decided it wasn't necessary at this time. The lady who I spoke to said no problem and she would take care of it. On the day of the appointment and when I got to the dealer, I just assumed that everything had been updated in their computers so that the service advisor was aware of what I wanted and didn't want done. He gave me some kind of Ipad device to digitally sign which I did and then went to the waiting area. When my car was done and the paperwork ready, he informed me that they had changed the cabin filter as "I had requested and with the filter I had provided". I DID NOT PROVIDE ANY CABIN FILTER AT ALL. There was no such filter in my car for them to use. Only Luqi Moly Oil and a Purolator Boss filter. No Cabin filter at all. I was most upset and told the advisor all this. He then backtracked and said "well yeah, we didnt' see the filter so we went ahead and provided you one from our stock" This made me even more mad. They should have checked with me FIRST before doing anything like that. The service advisor refused to take it off the bill and said there was nothing he could do. I tell ya I was and am so mad I'm was trembling just thinking about it. They charged me 40 bucks for that filter and labor and I want it back. They had NO RIGHT to do that. I don't care whose fault it is, the service advisor or the service scheduling department but I want my money back. I'm going to talk to the service Manager hopefully later today and see what happens and IF he will refund me for something I didn't want or ask to be done and which was done without my express permission, the I will change my rating to reflect that. But untill that happens, this review stands. One last thing, I specifically asked them to check the status of the front brakes and let me know how much life was left in the pads. When I asked at checkout about it the service advisor said "their fine" What the xxxx does that mean? Fine? Tell me how much life there is left, or at least give me a estimated life remaining in terms of milage. In the past, on the paperwork it would give me a color indicator with an arrow to show me how much life was left but no such indication was given this time on the paperwork. If this is an indication of the detail they go to then I'm going to find another dealer or mechanic to service my car in the future. More
