Communication with the Service Manager, George Nitsche, was excellent. As an advocate on my behalf to GM he sought GM's participation toward the cost. My disappointment is not with the dealership but with was excellent. As an advocate on my behalf to GM he sought GM's participation toward the cost. My disappointment is not with the dealership but with GM's quality control: transmission failure at 34K miles followed by an engine failure at 49K miles is indicative of unsatisfactory parts quality. Major parts failure at these low miles is highly unusual and indicative of the manufacturer's quality control failure. Although GM did contribute toward the cost, I believe their contribution should have been more. My experience will certainly influence my next auto purchase. More
