AutoNation Chevrolet Spokane Valley - Service Center

I bought my Chevy Trax 3 years ago and the salesman were fantastic. I’ve brought my vehicle in for every oil change and check up never a problem. 3 months ago noticed an issue driving on the freeway made an fantastic. Went to rescheduled appointment told them how and when the car acted funny cause I’m main roads was fine, basically was told nothing was wrong. Drove on freeway to Cheney and was almost run over by two big rigs cause car had no power. Got ahold of my service provider right away and got my car in, only to find out it needed extensive work. Was frustrated to learn that even though a few months prior I told them it only did it on the freeway that they did not test drive it on the freeway cause “it takes to long, and they have their own route” So needless to say this time they actually did and ended up with my car for 32 days. Yes they paid for a rental for me which I appreciated but communication is so hard for the service center. They don’t call you for updates and when you call they don’t call back. My service advisor called me after 6 on a Friday and told me I can pick up my car in the morning, when I got there the service advisor that was working was rude because he didn’t know anything about it, like it was my fault. Got my car home didn’t drive it u til that Tuesday only to notice a leak, my service advisor had already advised me he was going to be out for two weeks and gave me his manager’s number if I had any issues. I called three days in a row and never got a call back. I ended up taking it somewhere else to check the leak. Again the service department needs to do better. Communication is a problem and the one service advisor is rude. And as a manager how do you not return calls from a concerned customer. Due to the issues I’ve had with the service center I’m not sure I will ever buy from them again. You don’t pay for an extended warranty just to pay out of pocket to have it looked at somewhere else. But I needed to make sure my one and only car was ok to drive with the leak and since the manager could not take 5 minutes out of his day to return my call I went elsewhere, even thought auto nation did the work. I’m so angry and frustrated with the service department and their unprofessional response to their customers. More

I arrived at my service appointment on time and waited in the waiting room. About 30 minutes later I was told that the diagnosis technician was not available so my car got oil and filter change first. Afte the waiting room. I was given an appointment on the exact day that I asked for. They offered to give me a ride home instead of waiting at the dealership. Easy to get an appointment that met my schedule, which is important since we come from 90 miles away. Quickly checked in and reviewed the services I needed. My oil change and alignment check and alignment went great. i had an issue with a window that was not closing fully and sealing. The mechanic assigns, Gary, looked at came by and talked about what i saw had thought. The service manager came back with what they thought was the problem was and reaffirmed I wanted them to try and fix it. A little while later the mechanic came by and said he was sure he got it fixed. Sure enough, when we left and drove the car it had been fixed. Overall good job all the way around good job. My only minor complaint would be it seems it took a little longer than I expected, but a good thorough job. I will be back. More

My phone was low on battery and the man in Service let me use his personal phone cord while I waited for my oil change. It’s a simple thing but it’s those little things that make a big impact.
