Voided My Warranty after 25,700 miles for idling too much. Beware of new diesels and AutoNation, Jack Mathews and GM Rep Eddy Dixon. Brought my 2019 HD 3500 in for the second time with a limp mode issue. Has 25,700 miles. They actually counted the idling hours and calculated to 36,135 miles. Wanted to charge me $3000.They offered some assistance and backed off and my warranty was voided just minutes after I declined the offer and wanted a second opinion. WOW!!!!!! My vehicle was regened 1 day before at another auto shop in Orlando. The diagnosis was conflicting. This is why I wanted to go to another dealer. Tried making an appointment with Maher Chevrolet. They REFUSED me service. And this was just a few minutes after I left AutoNation. The voided warranty was not even in the system yet. Now, it almost impossible to sell or trade in or even fix my vehicle. The part is not even available!!!!!! How can any human being not be livid about this? I idled my truck too much according to the AutoNation service. I was never told this. I brought it in for the same problem two months ago. This is disheartening. I have been a GM guy my entire life. GM is now officially causing me problems with my business. We live in Florida. It is hot. I need my a/c while I am operating business. I sit in my truck and take calls while it idles. I have an active business , so this happens often. My employees also need to cool off. I was told to use a fan. Wow. No one told me idling your truck was detrimental to the engine. I have 5 other older diesels. My warning to the public is buy an older diesel. I did not purchase my truck from this dealer. The policy is from Chevrolet. Had GM's my entire life. I have a work truck. You do not sit in a hot truck right? What did I do wrong? Jack Mathews is the man responsible for this in my opinion. He is the director of service. It was him in my opinion who told the GM regional manager a story that caused my warranty to be voided. Who else could it be? It was not the janitor. This is inhumane. My faith in GM is gone. I will never buy a new GM product again. Jack Mathews told me to by a fan for the truck. The nerve of him to say that as he sits in an air conditioned office. I travel all over Florida with several trucks. I am without my most important truck. I can lose my business. OMG. Why was the warranty voided? Was it the review? Was it because I refused his offer and wanted a second opinion? I hope this never happens to you. It has caused me a lot of pain. A lot of pain. If someone could please inform me on what to do my name is on the review. $65,000 is a major loss for anyone. I contacted the GM of AutoNation. He indirectly said he is helpless and denied most of what I said. Check https://www.dealerrater.com/ for this dealers rating. I am also a computer developer and a pretty successful internet marketer. I called to get an update on my car they never called back. Finally I got a hold of someone and they said the mechanic just started to look at your car that they were busy. Finally I got a ride to dealership and turns out they never even looked at it. Hey I get it sometimes things happens but don’t lie to me. I use to brag about this dealership but no more. Sorry More

The service guy Dave was very welcoming at first and said he would charge $129 for the diagnosis. Three hours later I called to hear the result and he said he had nothing to tell me. About one hour later I stopped by the dealership when I noticed my car still parked outside the shop. I asked the service guy again for the diagnosis and all he could tell me was to check back in an hour or so. I asked him what was the point of me making an appointment when four and a half hours later the car has not been touched. He dumb reply made no sense when you consider the short time it takes to stick a device in the vehicle, get the codes and determine the problem. I asked him for my keys and left. These people advertise service as being very important however they suck at customer service. They have no service management skills and are a disgrace to their profession. Do not use this dealership unless you enjoy being jerked around by these service pretenders. More
Getting a return phone call is next to impossible I have called several times trying to get information on my cars service history. I can never seem to get a hold of a service person that can help. Cu I have called several times trying to get information on my cars service history. I can never seem to get a hold of a service person that can help. Customer service keeps telling m that someone will call me back but that never happens. I’m not calling to complain, I’m just trying to get the service history on the car that was service there. Wow, if I can’t get a return call for that I can’t imagine ever trying to get through if I really had a problem. More

Service "Agreement" ripoff Was deliberately led to believe I had to follow the chevrolet service "agreement" to maintain my warrenty while they slip in THEIR suggested servicing Was deliberately led to believe I had to follow the chevrolet service "agreement" to maintain my warrenty while they slip in THEIR suggested servicing schedule to suck you dry! Preffered extra coverage was an absolute scam. Told me on my first servicing that I had one free oil change (and forgot to do it at that!) when i actually paid for 12!! Tire and wheel warrenty covers next to nothing! Rims started peeling 6-7 months after car purchase and not covered. They're litterally telling me that i need to change my differential oil almost every time i have the oil changed.... ABSOLUTELY ABSURD! And they just scammed another $200 off me for doing it! NEVER AGAIN. More
They'll say anything to get your money. We've had terrible service 3 times this year. The first was for a major engine issue that cost over $5,000. When we left the vehicle, we were told everything would be handled in less than a week. 3 weeks later we still had no answers but they were quick to offer additional services at our cost. When we finally did get the vehicle back, two new leaks were discovered within a week. Refusing to accept responsibility (coincidences happen all the time, we were told by the rep), they charged us another $900 for what we perceived as their fault (crazy coincidence to have major engine work and then new leaks that had never been there before). When we got the vehicle back this time, the steering was...different. When we mentioned the new noises and vibrations to the service manager Greg, he told us they'd take care of it. So, reluctantly, we left the vehicle a third time. When we picked it up, the rep told us we owe $1500 for the repair! Outraged, we refused to pay. Now, Greg was unreachable. We even spoke with an attorney who advised us we had no legal recourse since we never got the estimate in writing from Greg. Needing our vehicle, we had no other option but to pay. We feel like this dealership depends on deception and shady mechanics to maintain business. They know that people can't legally do anything so they do literally whatever they can to screw people over. Talking with people in the waiting area, we found that these tactics aren't uncommon. Very unfortunate that these crooks are able to operate a legitimate business. Also, the vehicle developed another new problem (engine now overheats) within a week. More
hook line and sinker I set up a service on a new vehicle I told the service person I need the oil change badly but more importantly I need a new key made. I was given the I set up a service on a new vehicle I told the service person I need the oil change badly but more importantly I need a new key made. I was given the a point mentioned for the next day. I arrived the next day for the key making and oil change i was informed at that time they could not make the key. I can only get a key made at a Chevy dealership I can get the $100 oil change anywhere else for less. I was told less then 20 hours before. I took my personal truck there usually it was due for a oil change as well I took it to Firestone today it was liberating. If you maintain the maintenance it's covered by the Chevy warranty as well. Then a few days later I had a headlight blow out. I called and again spoke to Becky who was able to get me in the next day. I live in Tampa, and there are plenty of Chevy dealers here. However, due to the customer service I received from Becky I will cross the bridge anytime I need service to my Malibu More
