My appointment was 8 am. I arrived at 8:10. The gentleman who advised me where to park, asked me who was I there to see. I said, “Irving.” He told me to go # 4. I sat in the I arrived at 8:10. I was walking to the “VIPLounge” when I saw a gentleman walking out. I asked his name. He replied, “Irving.” I explained that I had been waiting for him for 20 minutes. There was no, “Good morning” no apology, no nothing. I saw a sign on Irving’s desk, “Ask about a complimentary car wash.” I asked for a complimentary car wash. 2HOURSNAND 5 MINUTES later (10:15) later I was finishing paying for an oil change. When I got to my vehicle, it had not been washed. The same gentleman who initially advised me where to park my car, brought me my keys. I asked him why wasn’t the vehicle given the complimentary car that I requested. He didn’t know. My initial interactions with the Service Department was par excellence, but my last 3 visits, including this one, have not met the standard of excellence; mediocrity at the most. More
Where to begin . My service writer from the start was obviously not engaged. I made an appointment for the 60 k inspection on my equinox. I confirmed the appointment. But the service writer had no clue as to why I was there. Even thow the paperwork was printed in front of him. Being the first appointment of the day - gave me a bad feeling. They sent a text to my phone about suggestions. I could not read the text. So I replied back and asked for him to retest me or send to my home email. No response. I literally called the dealership 5 times. Left messages on the service advisor mail box. Again no call back. I finally had to leave work go to the dealership. I asked for my advisor. I was told he was on lunch at 1310. I didn’t see him till 1430. When a porter tracked him down. Again no care for the customer. He shouldn’t be a service writer. He puts a bad face on your business as a frontline employee. At the end of the day I lost work hours and didn’t get the service I requested. My abs light is on when leaving dealer. The tech didn’t relearn the tpms sensor position when rotating tires. Me and my family are long time customers of this dealer. I have purchased several cars from them. In the end, I rate my experience as a 3. Only for the help received from the porter. I forgot his name, but if more employees took time to inquire about customers. You would not have a crusty stigma. I drive out of my way to get service on my vehicle at this location because you can't get exceptional customer service anywhere else. Mike Berzon is always attentive with my car. Fast and efficient service even though you can tell they're under pressure. Every time they come in under estimate. 3.5 years running.
