The very first service appointment for my 2022 Silverado didn't go as planned as a particular warranty part that needed to be replaced was not available and I needed to leave my Silverado there for a week. didn't go as planned as a particular warranty part that needed to be replaced was not available and I needed to leave my Silverado there for a week. Luckily I still had my backup 2001 Silverado to drive as they never offered me a loaner vehicle to drive in the meantime. One thing I noticed a week after the service was performed was my crankcase was overfilled a bit and it worried me of my engine warrantee. The 2nd service appointment was setup 6 months later and their personnel were polite and professional. The only glitch this time around was upon checking my dip stick before leaving their lot was the technician had accidentally left off my oil fill cap. I realize it was human error and left it at that. I was glad that I checked it out though before leaving as it possibly could have blowback and oil all over my engine compartment. More
Extremely disappointed in how I was treated at this dealership. It took 7 weeks to get my vehicle back from service and it wasn’t fixed properly. 4 miles down the road I got the same check engine light dealership. It took 7 weeks to get my vehicle back from service and it wasn’t fixed properly. 4 miles down the road I got the same check engine light and ESC alert. I returned the vehicle and was told they would look at it that day. They didn’t. Another week later I finally received my vehicle back. I was lied to constantly throughout this process. I only received a loaner car once I brought my vehicle in for the second time. They were completely unsympathetic to my need for a truck for my work. Communication is almost nonexistent at this dealership and when they do it is only to tell you what you want to hear. I will never bring my vehicle to this dealership again or buy again from them. Hard working service department. They are usually full but they handle the volume in a timely manner and try to keep you informed. Car came out better than it went in. We purchased our vehicle and have brought it back to AutoNation for routine oil changes. So when we had some work to be done, we just thought we’d bring it back to AutoNation and give them our business, AutoNation for routine oil changes. So when we had some work to be done, we just thought we’d bring it back to AutoNation and give them our business, as usual. We had an appointment scheduled, brought the car up and left it, so it’d be there for our scheduled time. BUT with 5 days having gone by without an update, I decided to call for an update. The car was supposed to take 2-4 business days, but we had heard nothing. So I called. I was put on hold, over and over again, spending over 2 hours a few times, on hold. I was told that I couldn’t be helped except by “my assigned agent,” but he never returned a single voice message or text message. I was constantly told someone would look into the status, only to be told that “we are busy, so & so is out today, so & so is on break, so & so is on a test drive, it could be 4-6 days - which it had already been more than that at that point, there’s 40 cars in line, so on and so forth. All the excuses. But never once did anyone care or acknowledge that we had a scheduled appointment. If someone had a medical appointment scheduled and was then just left to sit there for 2 weeks, with a million excuses as to why the doc couldn’t see you, you’d go somewhere else. So, that’s what we ended up doing. We had to show up and retrieve our vehicle that had been sitting in a lot for 2 weeks, without having been touched. The techs were perturbed and put off that we were there asking for our vehicle back to take out business elsewhere. And on top of that, they didn’t ask for an ID or anything to make sure we were actually taking OUR vehicle. We could have easily asked for any of the vehicles in that lot and left with someone else’s car. On top of that, if we were wanting to trade that vehicle in for another one, they would have looked at it quickly, to make a sale. Sooooo, all that to be said, our experience was not great! We ended up bringing our vehicle to another mechanic who was highly recommended, and the car was diagnosed AND repaired the next day! The service was night and day! Not sure we’ll be back to AutoNation…:/ More
