To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding my recent experience with AutoNation Used Chevy in North Richland Hills (NRH). My experience was not only disappointing but also complaint regarding my recent experience with AutoNation Used Chevy in North Richland Hills (NRH). My experience was not only disappointing but also deeply concerning due to unethical practices and unprofessional conduct exhibited during my attempted vehicle purchase. I visited AutoNation Used Chevy NRH to trade in my current AutoNation vehicle and purchase another vehicle through financing. During the sales process, Michael Insall provided false information regarding the APR rate and the service plan. Specifically, he stated that purchasing the Service Plan was a requirement to secure a lower APR rate. This was completely untrue, as I later discovered when purchasing the same make, model, and year vehicle at AutoNation Hyundai. I have an excellent credit history, and this misleading statement was both inappropriate and dishonest. Additionally, AutoNation Chevy NRH claimed they could not secure a competitive APR, even with my preferred lender, Fort Worth Community Credit Union, where I have been a loyal customer since before 2010. At AutoNation Hyundai, however, I was able to obtain a 6.4% APR without any such stipulations, further proving that I was misled by the NRH team. When I returned to address these concerns, Michael Insall avoided accountability by instructing the receptionist to tell us he was not onsite. However, when I requested to reverse the trade, he suddenly reappeared and proceeded to give us further runaround without resolution. This evasive behavior and lack of transparency were completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Moreover, the sales representative, Elijah, contributed very little to the process. Instead, Jimmie, who was not our assigned salesperson, handled the majority of our interactions. Jimmie was the sole highlight of the NRH location. He displayed genuine kindness, took the time to pray for my family, and treated us with respect—qualities severely lacking in the rest of the team. In contrast, when we visited AutoNation Hyundai (located across the street), Jesus and Gabriel provided excellent service, and we were able to complete our purchase with ease and satisfaction. Their professionalism and honesty were a stark contrast to the poor management and deceitful practices at AutoNation Chevy NRH. In summary, my experience at AutoNation Used Chevy NRH was unacceptable due to the following: Misrepresentation of financing terms by Michael Insall Lack of accountability and transparency from staff Unprofessional conduct and evasion of concerns Poor sales performance by Elijah, who left responsibilities to others This behavior reflects poorly on the AutoNation brand and undermines trust with loyal customers like myself. As a result, I will never use AutoNation Chevy NRH again, and I will be sharing my experience to ensure others are aware of these issues. It is a great place to purchase a car, But once you need service, that is another issue. We last purchased two cars from here in 2021 , one of which appears to be a lemon. The vehicle has been in the need service, that is another issue. We last purchased two cars from here in 2021 , one of which appears to be a lemon. The vehicle has been in the shop twice since we purchased it in 2021. It is taking longer to get a diagnosis the second rime around. At first they told us the truck was in line to be seen next, however a mnt later and many calls from us trying to get an update we find out it hasn't been seen yet , When we ask why is taking long they say they are short staff. We are the ones who keep calling for updates and every time we do we are told our service advisor is not in and She will have to be the one calling us back with that information .A mnt and half later we call for update and we find out the truck is next in line . When we push the questions in frustration our advisor tells us we are welcome to come grab the truck and take it somewhere else. As they don't know how much longer it will take after they get a diagnosis to Start working on it .On our first issue with this truck we used to get text updates on their tracker system. This time around we have the worst service and communication . They switched our advisor half way in to this from Moses to Hailey. And getting a hold of her has been such a dread , she is never in and takes for ever to return a call. When we call we always get voicemail ( feels as if they have caller Id and they see is us calling ) So we end up calling main line and then switch to service dep and that's how we get to a live person just to tell us She is not in and will have to be the only one to give us an update and for us to wait for her call next day. If you come here be aware that you will Not have a quick turnaround time. We don't expect fast service we are aware that they are short on mechanics and if we rush them they WILL make a mistake. But we however do expect mini updates via txt system .Our truck has been in the shop for two mts now and still no diagnosis (to be able to qualify for a rental )This situation is so unfortunate as we have bought five vehicles from here an we were looking forward to purchasing our las two kids vehicles here as well. The only one time they have service my car in a decent time it was when first purchased (under warranty and it was a 3 hour wait on oil change with an appointment ) More
Hi, I've been to a few Chevy places to get my Tahoe serviced. I can truly say that this has been a wonderful experience. I got my tires rotated, oil changed, and state inspection done on Veterans Day serviced. I can truly say that this has been a wonderful experience. I had a great conversation with the service tech that checked me in, Steven and the service manager Brad walked me back to the waiting area which had a great assortment of hot and cold drinks. I didn't feel like a number, it felt like family. I'll be going back there for all of my service needs from now on. Thank you, Steven and Brad!!! More
Finance Person was excellent best one yet. Salesman was very nice. I have tried to make a deal with AutoNation for many years and could never get a deal done because they are unwilling to wor Salesman was very nice. I have tried to make a deal with AutoNation for many years and could never get a deal done because they are unwilling to work with buyers. Honestly only made the deal because someone else was willing to put money down on the vehicle. I ended up getting a truck from another dealer because they made me feel good about the deal only taking off $500 off to make me feel good about the purchase. I wasn’t asking for much but a dealer just willing to do a little something for a customer goes a very long way. AutoNation will not budge or work with customers at all. More
