Don't believe a word they say! If they try to sell you a warranty it is bogus. I bought a 2018 Altima, I way overpaid for it but did so because I need to get my credit back on track however they also sold me a warranty for it that was supposed to be three years bumper to bumper. After two weeks my windshield started cracking, not from a rock chip or anything external, it was a bad windshield or bad installation. I was told the warranty was bumper to bumper when I agreed to pay $30 a month for it, it did not cover the windshield. They actually asked me why they should have to pay for it. Now I have to pay for a new windshield. The warranty is totally bogus and the cars, though they look nice if there is any defect you will pay for it. More
I made an appointment for Dec 26, 2025. requesting a diagnostic for an engine noise. I dropped off my car on Dec 26, with the service writer named Gary. 28 days later on Jan 23, Gary tex requesting a diagnostic for an engine noise. I dropped off my car on Dec 26, with the service writer named Gary. 28 days later on Jan 23, Gary texts me with the results, that the water pump is what's making the noise. Gary was nice and friendly but being with out your main mode of transportation for 28 days is TERRIABLE. During the 28 days , I called for an update but was met with no one answering the phones and having to leave voice messages. Gary texted me the next day after leaving messages. What's the point of making an appointment if your car has to be in the shop for 28 days? If I hadn't made an appointment would it have taken them 40 days? Who knows? The dealership was clean and everyone seemed friendly. Now would I take my car back to AutoNation Chevrolet, Would you? That would be a NO! I found a different repair shop to get the water pump replaced and looks like I will be taking my cars to when future repairs are needed. I'm just one customer, its not like your going to miss making money from just one customer. As Joey Swoll would say, You need to do Better. Ricardo More
