This rating is due to the service dept, not the sales dept. I have no issues with the salesman that took care of us, Eddie R., he was very pleasant and helpful. But.. if you buy a car here do NOT expec dept. I have no issues with the salesman that took care of us, Eddie R., he was very pleasant and helpful. But.. if you buy a car here do NOT expect good service if you have a problem with your vehicle! We bought a brand new, 2024 Chevy Trax on Aug 29th and a couple of weeks ago a vibration noise started happening, so I first called the service dept and did not like what I was told so my husband and I went there in person to speak to someone. I was told that they are booked 5-6 weeks out and that I could pick a time after that to drop my car off. He said I would have to leave the car there for 5-10 days. I told him that isn't an option, we only have one car and my husband works part time every day to supplement out SS. And we also have dr.s appts and other errands, we can't be without a car. So I inquired about a loaner and was told there were two but they were both being used, so I said call me when one is available and I will drop the car off then. Nope, he said he could write my name on a sticky note but that it would probably get lost. Nice, huh? He said my options were to either rent a car through them with Enterprise at $44 per day or call an Uber every time we needed to go somewhere. These are unacceptable options, we just bought a brand new car so we wouldn't have to worry about our car breaking down, etc. We have had the car about 6 weeks now. No way should we have to shell out money to rent a car while our brand new one sits in there lot waiting for someone to look at it. This is so wrong. And when I asked if GM would pay me back he said they would only reimburse me for the rent a car for the actual time my car was in the garage being worked on, they wouldn't pay for the days it sat in there lot. That's wrong because I called GM the next morning and they said they would reimburse me for all the days I was without a car. But for me and our situation a loaner is the only option. I can't tie up $400 or more for who knows how long. Nor should I have to. After I talked to GM (which they are going to check back with me next week to see how I made out), I called Big O tires and asked if they could take a look at the car... I didn't want to be driving down the road and have a tire suddenly come off or something. Who knows what is causing that vibration. So Big O Tires said to bring it right up and they took it for a test drive at no charge. They said they didn't think it was anything dangerous, the noise would just be annoying. So we are still driving it. But one of the worst things about all of this is that Autonation let us leave their dealership knowing we have an issue with a car we bought from them and didn't resolve it. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I also told the service advisor that I wish the salesman had told us what a problem we would have trying to get the car serviced if it needed it. The advisor said "No dealership is going to tell you that". I think that's the only honest response I got. More

Adam in service was great to work with. We had a difficulty situation with my extended warranty company and he was great at keeping me up to date every step of the way.
