Had a problem with my 2007 Cadillac DTS. A part came off the latch that gives entry into the trunk from the back seat. Called to make apt, person answering phone couldn't tell me if they serviced GMC Envoy vehicles. Called service dept, asked to speak to Service Manager. Got voice mail, would call me back. Never did. Drove me if they serviced GMC Envoy vehicles. Called service dept, asked to speak to Service Manager. Got voice mail, would call me back. Never did. Drove to dealership next am, made an apt. for that afternoon. When I pulled in, the computer was down, waited until it came online to be assigned a mechanic. But.. no courtesy car for a necessary errand, TV tuned to FOX, which I would never watch, with no way to change channels, magazines in waiting room a zillion years old or industry propaganda. No complimentary beverages. Told I could take courtesy transportation home, & be picked up, but since I live in Wellington, and it was 4:00 pm and an hour and a half into my 3 hr repair, it wasn't practical. One bright note - service advisor Cheryl was extremely efficient and courteous, and apologetic during my 3 took money out of her pocket and bought me a drink from a machine. BTW, the service manager returned my original call the next day. More
