I just moved from North Carolina, and ache an oil change. When I arrived I was helped by Rob. He came out and walked around the car asking when my last tire rotation was. I stated that I had one 5 thousand m When I arrived I was helped by Rob. He came out and walked around the car asking when my last tire rotation was. I stated that I had one 5 thousand miles previous and his exact comment was: “oh I can see that, cause there is a really bad wear pattern on my tires.” Then asked if I wanted a rotation. I said no as I only have 20k miles on a 2021 Silverado. Then I told him I have a oil change plan I paid for up to 36k miles on the truck and he explained he didn’t see anything on my paperwork. That’s because it’s in the Chevy system data base. (I called the dealership I bought the vehicle from) as I waited I looked up oil change discounts and found one on the website for the dealership. That made the oil change 79.00$. When I was called back up to Pay I presented the discount and Rob seemed visibly annoyed that I didn’t have the discount prior to the truck going in for service. (My conjecture is that if I would have presented the discount he would have found a way to charge me something else) to top it all off the synthetic oil change cost over 200$ and that was just for an oil change. The technician report when I got the truck back showed that my tires where an 8/10 with even wear. I will never come back to this dealership, and even elected to take my 2021 Chevy Suburban to Jefe Lub instead because of this experience. My appointment was on March 7th, 2023 at 7:00am. I want to First respond to the first post that I wrote and the subsequent response since that. I received a message to have a change to Speak with the General Manager of the AutoNation Chevrolet Greenacres, Mr. Joesph Tremble(please forgive if I didn't spell it correctly), he was very courteous and a please to speak with. He diligently spoke about the aforementioned evens where he did look into the matter with details. And as someone who owns a business I wanted to correct my previous post with the information from our conversation. I did receive more than just an Oil Change, based on my request to have an additive to my engine, as well as a Tire Rotation. ( I miss spoke in my original post as it was an alignment that was offered as a follow on option for a tire rotation). I further wanted to correct any misnomer of communication as in speaking with Rob the service department representative we were not on the same page for the service plan that I do have in place and Joesph, explained that he confirmed that I did have a service plan but it was with the group of dealers I purchased my vehicle through, and not GM dealer service plan that goes to all Chevy Dealerships. My overall post was not meant to change anyones mind and want everyone who has a chance to read this to be aware, that I respect when a Manager stands strong on the service provided and does the research prior to speaking with costumers who feel that they did not receive what was expected. Joesph did just that. During our conversation even-though there are/where obviously miss communications, lack of understanding on my behalf, he at no time took a position that I was the only party that should feel wrong. I can admit and do now that I was not correct in my understanding of the product that was being offered and it would be incorrect to not be forth coming to that fact. In conclusion of our conversation, Joesph did an admirable thing and "fell on the sword' when responsibly was not solely on his team, but our communication, during the day of service for my truck. Because of this follow up conversation, and the respectful means by which Joesph took in addressing my concerns, I would highly Recommend His dealership and will be working with his team going forward. So, Joseph, Rob and the team at Auto Nation Greenacres, I wanted to say thank you for treating with the respect following what seem to be a rocky start. So far i have been very pleased with the service i receive every time i go to autonation. I have dealt with Christina who is trying to help me with a new purchase and with Rob in service who is very g receive every time i go to autonation. Christof was superior giving me kind and professional assistance with my servicing needs for my Equinox!! He made sure I got home (thank you Angel for the taxi home, you’re such a sweet man) and also my assistance with my servicing needs for my Equinox!!
