To Whom It May Concern, I’ve been a loyal customer of your dealership for over thirty years, and I feel compelled to share some concerns regarding both the service and vehicle quality I’ve experienced re your dealership for over thirty years, and I feel compelled to share some concerns regarding both the service and vehicle quality I’ve experienced recently. Several weeks ago, I was automatically scheduled for a routine service appointment for my new Blazer EZ. However, when I arrived, no one seemed to be aware of the appointment. I later found out that the service representative who scheduled it had left the day before. When I was finally seen, the new representative had no prior information about me or my vehicle, and when he located my records, they inaccurately indicated that I had requested the visit due to a mechanical issue. For the record, I’ve had no such problems—aside from the paint scratching extremely easily, which was also an issue with my previous Chevy. This situation gave me the impression that an overzealous service rep may have been trying to meet a quota rather than genuinely addressing customer needs. To add to my frustration, I recently learned that there was a recall issued for my vehicle—something I was never notified about by the dealership or manufacturer. This is unacceptable. Timely communication about recalls is critical for safety, and the lack of notice reflects poorly on both the dealership and Chevy as a whole. While I’ve always taken pride in owning Chevy vehicles—and have driven nothing else throughout my life—I’m becoming increasingly disappointed by the decline in overall quality. The vehicles are more expensive than ever, yet the craftsmanship and durability continue to fall short. It’s disheartening, especially for someone who has shown such long-term loyalty to the brand. Over the years, I’ve referred at least five friends and family members to this dealership. I’ve never received so much as a thank-you for doing so, which makes me question why I’ve remained so loyal. I sincerely hope you’ll take this feedback to heart. I believe Chevy is capable of better, and I’d like to continue supporting a brand I’ve trusted for decades. Sincerely, Kathy Hatakeyama More
