I don’t normally write reviews on experiences but I had to do this one because it was insane. So I had to take my traverse for an oil change on June 27 but I couldn’t make it. My wife took the car instead. to do this one because it was insane. So I had to take my traverse for an oil change on June 27 but I couldn’t make it. My wife took the car instead. As soon as she got there the advisor went to check the car and took pictures of the tires. He comes inside and my wife tells him she’s only there for an oil change. He mentions the prices went up and my wife asked how much it would be and the advisor said $195.00 for an oil change and a tire rotation. I was in disbelief when she told me this. She then said only an oil change and he said it’s $180. He said this was with discounts and said the original price is $240, as if being generous. She didn’t believe it and neither did I. My wife said he held up a paper in a quick manner and pointed at a random $240 and the word traverse as if trying to hide something. I told my wife to give me a few minutes as when I was making the appointment online I had seen a different price on their website. I went ahead and looked it up and it was in fact $107 for an oil change with the oil filter. I sent the screenshot to her and she showed him. He then took my wife’s phone to the manager to show the screenshot with the price. He came back and said they can do that but with taxes. Could you believe they tried to throw in a random price to try to make their commission? It’s hard not to believe they tried to pull this because a female took the car to the dealer as if she didn’t know any better. Probably one of the most ridiculous experiences I’ve encountered. If anyone goes to this dealer, please be careful and look up prices ahead of time on their website. More
