I searched online for a used Corvette and made an appointment to go to AutoNation Chevrolet Coral Gables to see and drive a 2013 Corvette. Here is what happened over the next few days. Sunday evening, we completed the agreement, including an additional package to cover Gap Insurance, Maintenance, Rental reimbursement and Towing. The tire monitor warning light came on while I was driving home. So, I communicated via email, with an AutoNation Chevrolet Coral Gables employee I worked with during the purchase, about the warning light and was told any AutoNation could take care of the problem. Since AutoNation Chevrolet Coral Gables is over an hour from my home, I found one nearby and made an appointment online for Monday. Monday, I went to the AutoNation close by and they had no idea I was coming, did not understand the problem, or why I came to them. They told me they could not work on the car, only change oil and rotate tires on a Corvette. So, I left. I went home and made an appointment with the Chevrolet dealer near me. Tuesday I took the car to the dealer early in the morning and paid for a Lyft to get to work. I called the AutoNation Chevrolet Coral Gables employee I worked with and expressed concern about not having anything to show the dealer about the coverage I had purchased. He told me it was all available under my vin number but he promised to scan and send it to me so I could have it and could send it to the dealership. He did not send me anything so when I got back to the dealership to pick it up they said, yes, it stated I had a non-GM contract but no other information about who it was with, who to call, etc. so it was worthless. So, I paid for the repair out of pocket. They said the problem was that AutoNation Chevrolet Coral Gables did not correctly run the electronics for the tires after changing them. Thursday it started running rough, no warning lights so I thought I maybe I was just in the wrong gear(?). Friday it took multiple tries to start, still no warning lights. After work I drove to Walmart to shop on my way home. After shopping it would not start and the check engine light came on. I called the Chevrolet dealer and they guessed it was the battery. AAA came out and checked the battery and said it was fine (AutoNation stated the battery was dead when they got it days later and that is why it would not start. Not true according to AAA). So, I called AAA again for a tow and took it up to the Chevrolet dealership near my home (the tow cost was too high to take it all the way back to AutoNation Chevrolet Coral Gables). Of course, there was no way to use the towing coverage I supposedly had so I paid the mileage, above what my membership covered, out of pocket. Saturday, first thing, I let AutoNation Chevrolet Coral Gables know I wanted to return the vehicle, as they stated was possible. They gave me the run around for 3 days and would not speak to me about how to resolve the problem and return the vehicle. I finally asked a third party to assist me, he did, and the issue was resolved, almost a month later. From my viewpoint AutoNation Chevrolet Coral Gables: sold me a used car that turned out to be a lemon did not live up to the customer promise to be able to return the car no questions asked with full refund sold me coverage that was worthless demonstrated poor customer service by leaving me without information or response for days. They never apologized for or offered to cover the costs that were supposedly covered by the package I paid for I've never had such an unpleasant car purchase experience and I will never work with AutoNation Chevrolet Coral Gables or probably any AutoNation again. More

Terrible Customer Care Terrible customer care. I made an appointment with a sales person named Rayniel Hernandez. He called me for 3 days and told me that the car that I am Terrible customer care. I made an appointment with a sales person named Rayniel Hernandez. He called me for 3 days and told me that the car that I am interested in is available. He called me 1 hour before our appointment and said it is still available. When I got there, he was very disinterested and he sent someone who can barely talk English. I couldn't understand most of the things he told me. When we went to see the car, he told me the car is not available, and he tried to show me other cars that are way more expensive than I wanted. He was constantly asking my budget and how I pay even before, he showed me the car. This place was totally disappointment to me. I don't recommend anyone to go there. More
RED ALERT...RIP OFF DEALERSHIP After 10 yrs living in So Fl, and having purchased 7 cars from Maroone/Auto Nation, they have succeeded in ripping me off financially, putting me in a After 10 yrs living in So Fl, and having purchased 7 cars from Maroone/Auto Nation, they have succeeded in ripping me off financially, putting me in a new car (trading in a $45K mint Chev Traverse)...whose features were NOT explained to me before I left dealership, as no one their...at that particular time spoke English. Drove home a junk...Chev Sonic R.S. WITH THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON. Following day, 10/17/13 we noticed body damage on car. Blue tooth HAS NEVER WORKED IN THIS CAR DESPITE INNUMERABLE PHONE CALLS TO A.N. AND RETURNING THE CAR TO THEM FOR BODY WORK/CHECK ENGINE LIGHT REMOVAL, AND ATTEMPTED REPAIR OF BLUE TOOTH. FRUSTRATED, I brought this junk car to Homestead Chevrolet 3 times in an effort to get the BT functional, to no avail. Car was serviced early January, and I was told that the BT could NOT be reoaired. After that, because the features of this car WERE NEVER EXPLAINED TO ME, I didn't know that NONE OF THIS JUNK CAR SENSOR LIGHTS WERE NOT FUNCTIONING. Consequently, my right/rear tire was low, I had absolutely NO KNOWLEDGE OR INDICATION OF THIS B/C SENSORS WERE DEFECTIVE, AND I FOUND MYSELF DRIVING A CAR WITH A FLAT TIRE...RIM IN THE GROUND. Immediately called CG AN..& after 11...repeat: 11 phone calls, I finally spoke to the Svc Director. Crying & frightened, Juan advised me to get the car to them asap. Following day, car was brought to them. Instead of assessing the multitude of serious issues with this car, I was told that "they would put me into a new car." Raoul, the GM claimed that he knew I WAITED IN THE SALESROOM AREA FOR 8 SOLID HRS. I was initially shown the new car deal, I was in agreement, however by 4:30 p.m., I was told by a bogus/finance director, whose biz card reads "sales," that they wanted an additional $3,000 in addition to the $3,000 paid while purchasing this junk. Alian Josep...fronting as the Finance Director, then told me he was the General Manager(???) Questioning this, he then told me that Raoul, GM was not in that day, & he had no other superiors to speak to in order to get this transaction completed as originally agreed. Alain treated me in a highly rude, condescending, unprofessional, & abusive manner. I refused, as a woman alone, 10 yr customer of this Dealership, to be treated this way. I went back to the Service Dept 7.5 hrs later to speak with Juan/Dir of Svc, & Mr. Garcia, both of whom treated me with respect. I left with a rental car, and while driving home I left Raoul, GM, a detailed voice mail. He returned my call, and before I could say 1 word, he raised his voice at me, TOTALLY UNFAMILIAR WITH THE FACTS, defending this Alain...never listening to my side of the story. His conduct towards me was: condescending, rude, abrupt, flip, curt & contentious. While a GM of this dealership, told me his phone "had no battery," he hung up on me. I plan to take this matter to GM Customer Care Specialists, and pursue this serious matter, with a multitude of serious issues to the highest level I need to until complete remedial action is taken, and I am driving a new/SAFE...MECHANICALLY SOUND CAR. Please learn from my mistakes and DO NOT BUY YOUR CAR HERE. More
