I’ve bought Chevys for the past 50 years and from Auto Nation for the last 30. My repeated attempts to get a glitch fixed in my Radio in my 2020 Traverse stressed us to no end. Auto Nation Arrowhead Chevr Nation for the last 30. My repeated attempts to get a glitch fixed in my Radio in my 2020 Traverse stressed us to no end. Auto Nation Arrowhead Chevrolet would never completely fix the volume on the radio. I took it in on several occasions over the the two years for Auto Nation Arrowhead to solve the volume issues. Every time I brought it in for the radio their knee jerk answer was it “needed an update.” Or the answer was “could not duplicate.” On a number of those times I brought it in with the volume Not working. Still they refused to simply replace it. Finally, after I threatened a “Lemon Law” exercise via an attorney they suddenly realized that maybe they should replace it. But, the Warranty Manager wanted to charge me my deductible of $100, however, I stringently refused because the problem existed from the day I bought it! It was never a customer caused issue, which the Warranty Manager wanted to do. When I inquired why, my service agent explained the cost and that’s when I discovered what was behind Auto Nation’s refusal to take care of the problem. Again, I’ve been a customer for decades, and never been treated with such recalcitrants. Perhaps, rather than create such distrust in a long time customer, it would be both economical and build customer relationships to exhaust all possibilities of an issue rather than digging once’s heels in to save a penance of what new cars cost and lose a good customer in the process. I have been going to AutoNation Chevrolet since moving to AZ four years ago. Their service writers are great and the service is top notch. I also got a great deal on a new Traverse and expect to buy my next AZ four years ago. Their service writers are great and the service is top notch. This is tough to write- as I think about the "hold ups" that we are living with: short staff, parts on back order, etc. ((I'm giving this dealership good ratings because I know how they can be/where they h that we are living with: short staff, parts on back order, etc. ((I'm giving this dealership good ratings because I know how they can be/where they have been.)) Pros: there is a way to connect w/ your service advisor via text- so you can hound him/her if needed. (I mean you should have to- but the work they have to do to get your work approved is insane.) Cons: I do not for the life of me understand why it takes so long for service- if it was purchased at this location, and is a Chevy vehicle, I should not be out a car for a week at a time when something goes wrong. Simple as that. My advisor tried the best she could- over worked, understaffed. I would like to say "do better" as a whole- but I honestly do know how in this world. More
