I just recently purchased a new vehicle Monday. Traded in a previous vehicle that I purchased eight years ago. AutoNation focused on keeping me a customer by negotiating with me on my new purchase. Communication was insufficient; every contact with the dealership was initiated by me, either through phone calls or in person visits. It was overly challenging to obtain information about the status of dealership was initiated by me, either through phone calls or in person visits. It was overly challenging to obtain information about the status of my vehicle repair. The repairs required ordering of parts, which caused delays in completing the repairs. This was understandable. However, a week would pass between status updates with no clear understanding provided as to the reason for delay. Ultimately the vehicle spent 30 days in for repair. The technicians did a good job, and repairs appear to be completed effectively. However, the bad communication reflected poorly on the dealership overall - especially considering we were also purchasing a new vehicle during the time this vehicle was in for repairs. More

Well, I was hoping I didn't have to take my issues to the public, but due to lack of communication, they leave me no choice. I'll start off from our initial purchase back in July 2021 of our 2021 chevy traver public, but due to lack of communication, they leave me no choice. I'll start off from our initial purchase back in July 2021 of our 2021 chevy traverse. great experience, our sales guy Dominic B was amazing! Everything went smooth and fairly fast, the finance guy was very nice as well (I forgot his name),he was a little pushy with some "extras",but we expect that in the position he's in. Since then, we regularly attend this location for our regular oil changes/check ups and each time I ask what needs to be done,if anything because we want to keep up with it all to try and avoid issues if at all possible. Most of the appmts went smooth aside from the very long wait fir majority of them. Now,let's talk about our most recent experience. On 9/24/24,I had a scheduled oil change and an allignment because we had noticed the wheel was pulling slightly to the left, after taking my vehicle back, the advisor, Alfredo, came to me and told me some issues, 1 having to do with the transmission, which was under warranty. I thought to myself, okay I'll return to have that done because it was an all day appmt and we were leaving out of town in a few days. However, I was told if I left it wouldn't have been under warranty any longer because it is either 5yr or 60,000 miles. Now, we were getting close to 60,000,but I would have been fine to return after my trip, but he said since it was from day of purchase or 60,000, that the day expiration was coming up in 2 days. Of course that put me in panic mode and really had no time to actually think,so I left it. Now, aside from the trans work, they said something else needed to be done,so I said to do it all,but that I leave Friday afternoon to go out of town. Since itbwas a Tuesday, they said it was highly likely to be done Thursday, no later than Friday, but that he could not offer me a rental or loaner, why I'm still not sure. Well, after getting home and collecting all my thoughts I realize that our 5yr date of purchase expiration wasn't until July 2026 or again the 60,0000 miles. I then was questioning why I was rushed into.the decision, they already had my vehicle, so I just left it as is. The week goes on,no communication or updates. I called a few times to check status, finally get a response that it will not be done by Friday. I said okay that is fine, we will return Monday 9/30 & I will let them know when I'm back so I can arrange pick up. Our flight was delayed on 9/30 & I knew we wouldn't make it to the dealership before it closed,so I left a message letting them know,no response. We are home, I call on Wednesday 10/1,left a message, finally was contacted saying the vehicle is not ready and they are waiting on parts. Okay,no big deal, inconvenient? Yes, but I get it,that's out of their control. Days go on,no communication, I finally get a hold of someone saying it's still not ready and asked if I had a rental, I said no I was told 1 could not be offered,he said oh no, we need to get you 1. The next day, we finally receive a rental. Weeks go by,no communication on updates, nothing. I didn't want anything rushed,so I was trying to be patient. Finally, our car was ready for pick up on 10/17/24. I drop off the rental,go pick up my car,pay my bill, which they did take some money off for the inconvenience and I did appreciate. The car is brought out for me,my son and I get in the car and it wouldn't start. They call the service guy to take it back, after a little bit, they advisor came to me and said it's the battery and it's completely dead and asked if I'd like to purchase from them or go to a place like autozone. Here's the point where all my patience went out the door...I was so upset and drained from weeks of not knowing what was going on that I was about to cry,the advisor saw/heard in my voice that I was upset and consulted with his boss. and they agreed to replace the battery free of charge, again, something I appreciated. I had an appointment for a simple tire rotation and fluid top off. Took almost 5 hours. I never got a update on the work even though I asked a couple of people more than once. top off. Took almost 5 hours. I never got a update on the work even though I asked a couple of people more than once. More
