I'll start with the positive. My car is running and it's running well. The repair itself was good. However, the service was terrible. Starting with the day I made the appointment and was transferred to someone to discuss whether there would be a loaner car and if my warranty would apply. The phone rang for over five minutes and nobody ever picked up. I called the next day and left a voicemail. I called again that afternoon and left a second voicemail. Nobody answered and those calls were never returned. Day 3, I take my car in at 8 a.m., 30 minutes early. I needed diagnostics run on it so I knew if it was covered. There are no loaner cars due to inventory. I was very quickly ushered to a shuttle but had to tell them to hold on because I still had not spoken to anyone about my warranty. I was quickly dismissed and told to just email it. I provided the same call back number I had now done 3 times. I call for the first time about 3 hours later. Was on hold for 28 minutes. Later in the day for 3 minutes, only to be told it hasn't been looked out. Day 4 I called. No answer. Transfer. On hold 9 minutes. After three calls I get a ride up there. I am told again, that my car has not been looked at. I asked why I made an appointment for the previous morning and she has it always takes 48 hours. I asked why I wasn't told that and she said , well that makes people mad. Full disclosure, when I dropped the car off, I was asked if I could leave my car a few days. I told the gentleman that if it needed a few days to be repaired, I would figure something out. However, I was never informed it would take 48 hours just to diagnose it. I was basically told they were too busy to check voicemails and that's why I hadn't been called back. I was asked for a call back number since they'd apparently misplaced mine. Later in the afternoon I was called and told it would be repaired and ready on day 5. Day 5 late afternoon I call. It isn't ready. I ask if they are open day 6. They are, but that technician doesn't work that day. So it should be ready day 8. Day 8, nobody calls. I call and am told that it is done and just waiting. Not sure how long it would have sat there had I not called. Warranty covered it. Car runs well. However, if you want reasonable expectations or communication or just decent customer service, this isn't the place for it. At least ten total calls were made and I received one brief call back. More
I always bring my Chevy truck to the Auto Nation for service. There was a recall for the roof rail that was fixed at no charge. I had an oil change, inspection for my up coming tags, and half price on a set of wiper blades and an alignment. They even washed my truck! I was given a ride home because the recall could take a few hours and when my truck was ready I was picked up and brought back to the Chevy house. I've bought all my Chevy trucks over the years from Auto Nation and even as far back as when they were called Plains Chevrolet and I've always gotten a really nice truck and each new truck had more "bells and whistles" than the last. Your service people are the best and the service I get is always the best. If anyone asks me where I got my truck I always tell them AutoNation. Don't go anywhere else. More

I brought my Solstice in because the transmission was downshifting very hard when I was slowing down. The dealership had my car for a few days and then called to tell me it needed a new water thermostat downshifting very hard when I was slowing down. The dealership had my car for a few days and then called to tell me it needed a new water thermostat and sensor. I voiced my concern that change those parts would have nothing to do with repairing my transmission. I was told that the technician said that’s what it needed. I asked if I got a return on my money if that did not repair the problem. I was told that we would deal with it if that happened. The car was returned to me on a Friday and I drove it throughout the weekend. It was continually downshifting very hard to the point it would shake the car. Also the water temperature ran the same as it always did. So nothing was repaired and repairs were made that were not needed. I returned the car to the dealership and asked them to find the problem and I would like to be credited back the money I spent for nothing. They called me a couple of days later and told me it was an intermittent problem with the Transmission Communication Module and it was unavailable. I did not understand why they were telling me it was intermittent when it happened every time I drove it. I was told that they could order it but it could be months before they could get it in. Most of the communication I had with Auto Nation was through text with Cassie. The last text I had with Cassie I asked her to go ahead an order it and I would like my money back I spent. Not only did she not order the part they didn’t even act like they would actively look for the part. I was not offered any money back or an apology for not repairing my car. I picked up my car and am now looking for a repair shop that would help me get my car repaired. I will not bring back any of the three vehicles I own to this dealership and I will actively tell everyone I can not to use your service department. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a dealership. Your people need some training on customer service cause they seem to have none. Thanks for nothing. More
