Very disappointed with AutoNation. We had a scheduled appointment at 9:00 for oil change and tire rotation. We arrived at 8:45. We were told that scheduled maintenance for 40,000 miles required more care. We were not told that the service would be outrageously more expensive. Nor were we offered any other options or even explained what the more service involved. Our vehicle was taken back at 9:25. We did not get the vehicle back until 12:15, at which time we were given a bill of close to $1,000. Labor was $555.19. Dozens of customers came, received service, and left before our vehicle was finished. Another customer brought her vehicle early for an 8:00 appointment for routine oil change and received her vehicle after ours. She had came in after working 12 hours all night. She and I were the last customers to receive vehicles back before service personnel left for lunch. We were not told why we were waiting, nor were we given any estimate of time we would be waiting. Our vehicle wasn’t sanitized. It was lightly washed and lightly vacuumed. With my previous experiences with my last vehicle, the service department would carefully explain the recommended service, the cost, what the work entailed and whether it was essential, and necessary for the upkeep of my car. I have not received this kind of care and attention since buying my current car. I bought this vehicle from AutoNation because of the excellent sales experience and excellent service. My experience with this vehicle, from sales to service has been the complete opposite. I am very disappointed in the entire experience with my Colorado. I cannot recommend buying or servicing a vehicle at this dealership and I have been a huge fan until this purchase. I feel that scheduled service should be dealt with first, not after every other customer that drops in. I will be looking elsewhere for my service and next purchase and this makes me very sad. More
