I went to another Chevrolet Dealer closetest to my home and had a bad experience. AutoNation Chevrolet Aiport is atleast to an hour away from my home and it was worth the drive. Jeffery kept me updated every step of the way. He was very informative and knowledgable which tells me they have an experienced employee. I recently bought A Chevy Blazer from AutoNation, came in for a recall and the first oil change; my experience with the service department/ advisor Tammy was Wonderful!!! she helped me with all off my que in for a recall and the first oil change; my experience with the service department/ advisor Tammy was Wonderful!!! she helped me with all off my questions and concerns. This has been ANOTHER poor experience after I had a mediocre one and then a good resolution. My battery, which was purchased at their store 20 months prior and was under warranty. I took it there due mediocre one and then a good resolution. My battery, which was purchased at their store 20 months prior and was under warranty. I took it there due to having to be jumped and not starting properly. They contacted me to pick up the vehicle. I arrived, paid the $49 check battery fee and the car did not start. They had to jump it again and I had to return to work since the car was not fixed as promised. Hours later, I was advised the "replacement" battery was a dud and they didn't find anything wrong other than they needed to replace with another new battery. Two experiences there and the most recent experience are why I will probably never return. The service advisor told me upon check out that I didn't have to return to their location for warranty work, albeit is is the CLOSEST to my work and most convenient. The impression left was they would rather NOT handle my business. I am certain this is due to previous experiences and notes on my account of those experiences. Today, just one week later, I have to reschedule service due to a notification on my vehicle stating that the problem, that they stated was fixed last week, was in fact, not. Based on my interactions and implications that they would rather not handle my service request and needs, I have decided to take my business to another GMC dealership. More
