This is not the first negative experience I have had with Champion Chevrolet South and have had others tell me of the poor service from Champion South. I had an engine light appear on my dash so I made an a Champion Chevrolet South and have had others tell me of the poor service from Champion South. I had an engine light appear on my dash so I made an appointment to have it diagnosed. I was told that since my vehicle is diesel it could take longer for diagnostics due to lack of diesel mechanics. I expressed that being without a vehicle was a big problem, but was told the "vehichle loaner program" was no longer available. That if my diagnosis was covered by my extended warranty and if my warranty provided car rental assistance then I could qualify for it. I decided to leave my vehicle and pick it up at the end of the day and continue to bring it until services were started. The first day my vehicle was diagnosed and the warranty would cover my claim so I decided to take my vehicle home for the evening. The representative confidently said that the would be there by the following morning and I could drop it off in the morning for service. I went the next morning at around 8 and asked if the part was there and the representative said yes. I was willing to leave my vehicle and chance that it would get serviced. I called after 3PM since it was described as a 6 hour job. When I called, my rep told me the part had barely arrived about an hour before I called after 3. I had scheduled off from work in good faith that that part was there due to the confidence of the reps words that morning. I then asked if I could get rental assistance per my warranty agreement but AVIS had no vehicles available so I had to schedule another day off from work to ensure service. Had I known the part wasn't in and there were no rentals I would had scheduled it much better. I took my vehicle the next AM after 8 and they were actually waiting for me, probably due to the issues that happened. I dropped it off and called in the afternoon to go pick up my vehicle. I got there relieved to finally get my vehicle back, but was hit with an emotional blow. Apparently the warranty company approved the claim, the vehicle got serviced with a 1300 dollar service, then denied it. I went to the lobby and just started crying from all the stress from the past 3 days. I never hope to go through needing service again. Once my warranty is done I will be done with them as well. The only good thing about hat place is a one sales representative that helped me out with a ride the day of actual serviceand was there during my emotional break in the waiting area and trying to figure out how I might be able to pay out if pocket for the denied service. After all that, the denied claim was finally fixed. I drove once my keys were handed to me without talking to my rep or getting paperwork about the service like normal. The service pricess and management of sevice really needs to be reevaluated or better foreseeing needed for the customer. Until then you get only 1 star for the sales representative that helped me during this hellish ordeal. More
