June 13th called and set up an appointment to check my wife's 2023 Traverse. Specifically noted to the service tech that answered the phone that I was from out of town (West of Sinton), about an hour's d wife's 2023 Traverse. I advised I was going to wait at the facility while it was looked at/diagnosed and hopefully fixed. I was told that was not a problem. Based on that, my appointment was set for June 17th @ 7am. (you say your calls are recorded...go back to June 13th around 1030 am and check for your self.) Per my appointment date/time, on June 17th I arrived at the AutoNation South Chevrolet location. The doors were locked but the ladies were inside. When they opened they initially couldn't find my information, but did after some looking. They told me to go across the lot to another building to visit with Jason Wilson. I asked for him to come over here, but that didn't happen. I ended up driving over there to find and speak with him (Customer Service?) I was told it would be 2 to 3 days for the car to even be looked at. I went over what I was told when I initially scheduled my appointment and basically it was a too bad/too sad event. I was told the girls over there did not know what to do. Again, I explained based off originally setting the appointment and confirming said appointment was actually an appointment, where the new car could get service I made the almost hour trip in to be told the girls don't know what they are talking about and that it would be 2 to 3 days before the car could get looked at. As the customer, whether the girls know what to do is irrelevant to me, that's an internal problem that should be addressed internally and not broadcast to the customers. As to 2 or 3 days, that wasn't what I was told when scheduling the appointment. Just thinking....the appointment was for what? That doesn't say much. A total lack of customer service. I am out my time (2 hours), money and efforts to have warranty work done only to be messed around like this. Chevrolet customers/AutoNation customers deserve better that that. That is just not right. Again, it was a too-bad/too-sad affair. Least we not forget, customer are the reason businesses stay in business. Customers drive the sale/s of vehicles and customers drive the repair of vehicles. Without customer it doesn't work. Mess customers around and see them go elsewhere. All of this and you could have stepped up to the plate and done the right thing. But, that didn't happen! I commend AutoNation for the very best customer service I have ever experienced with the most professional employees that can be found. Ms. Anna Rodriguez the service advisor is a most outstanding professional, very experienced, very courteous, maintains constant communication with the customer while vehicle is being serviced, thoroughly explains all service-related areas that were serviced and immediately notifies you if an area on your vehicle requires attention. I have used AutoNation South for several years and Ms. Rodriguez, I trust 100% and has always taken care of all three of my vehicles with outstanding attention. I commend the mechanics who thoroughly inspect, service and repair my vehicles with no reoccurring issues. I commend AutoNation South as being the very best in customer satisfaction, honesty, friendly and most trustworthy plus all supervisor, managers as well as employes all have a smile and a very friendly how are you and thank you for choosing AutoNation South. I most highly recommend AutoNation South to everyone needing their vehicles serviced because you will not find any other dealer as good as they are. Paul C. More
