I gave them more than half of the cost of the vehicle in cash, and the dealer told me it takes two to three weeks to process a refund because “corporate has to process it" and then they will mail it. How come you can't even go pick up a check? So I called corporate, and they said there’s no reason the dealership can’t issue the refund sooner or allow me to pick up a check. If you need to buy a vehicle and you are using a good sum of money, expect not to get that money back for a while, which would keep you from being able to shop somwhere else. Second part to the story: if the car has something wrong, expect to get zero to no help, and they expect you to take the car to a separate shop on your own time. More

But once I was deep into the process, suddenly the pressure began: “You’ll need to fly in to finalize paperwork.” When I pushed back, they tossed out some vague “Colorado legal” excuse. Against my better judgment, I agreed—but made it clear I wanted everything handled online except the final signature. Their response? “Oops, the car just sold.” Come on. That’s not bad luck, that’s bait-and-switch. They were stringing me along just to trap me into a last-minute trip so they could pull the rug out. At least I was smart enough to demand all paperwork before wasting money on a flight—otherwise I’d have been scammed even harder. This is 2025. Who falls for this garbage anymore?
