This is a review I never wanted to write but something I wish I had known prior to purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. In my opinion, this dealership did not live up to its mission statement. For a year and a half, I have done everything possible to allow Autonation to earn a good review, instead we are headed toward litigation. We purchased a low mileage used vehicle from Autonation Buick GMC West in March 2023. The vehicle had not been at the dealership long and had not yet had its presale inspection/service completed. We informed the sales manager that we would only purchase the vehicle at that time if the 5 day / 250 mile buy back guarantee would start once the presale service had been completed and we had taken possession of the vehicle. After the service was complete and we had the opportunity to drive the vehicle for a couple of days, we discovered that there was an issue with the steering wheel occasionally getting stuck when cornering at highway speeds. We attempted to return the vehicle but were told that the buyback would not be honored because the sales manager that sold us the vehicle was not authorized to make those concessions. However, after speaking to the lead sales manager about the steering malfunction, he assured us that AutoNation would fix the steering issue or purchase the vehicle back and provided a written statement detailing this. To their credit, Autonation did attempt to diagnose the problem and had a local Genesis tech evaluate the vehicle as well. However, both were unable to figure out the problem at that time. As a result, I was stuck with the seven-month long burden of working directly with Genesis to get the vehicle correctly diagnosed and repaired. In all, the vehicle was in the shop five times and it took a total of six and a half weeks of in shop diagnostics and service to fix the vehicle. In the end, the vehicle needed the entire steering system replaced. As of this review, Autonation has not paid for or fixed any of the issues with the vehicle, nor have they offered to purchase the vehicle back. It was a very frustrating time during those seven months as I did not even feel comfortable driving my children in the vehicle. The substantial amount of time spent trying to get the vehicle diagnosed and repaired was financially and psychologically taxing. We have all experienced frustrations with companies before, but my experience with this dealership was negative on a whole new level. More

GMC - does not care about it's service. Painfully obvious now after 2.5 years of owning a 2022 GMC Sierra. No regard for their customer - and zero care if that customer makes a complaint. This service department at least tried to help but still messed it up and didn't care that they messed up my Truck that I went from loving to hating due to the GMC service. Avoid GMC at all costs - if you can't trust the service to be right you are asking for trouble, I found out the hard way. More
My purchase of my 2024 GMC Acadia went well for the most part. Yamile’ Urias was amazing! I filled out my credit app and was brought an estimated payment form to sign, this form was based off a random credit score and had no relevance to mine. I declined signing it and asked for a rate and estimate form based on my credit score. Yamile was happy to help and went to request that, however when she left the office the New car manager ( Jeremy Kramer) who was overseeing her started yelling and berating her telling her to “get back in there and have her sign it!” She came back visibly upset and said she had to ask again for me to sign the paper and pick a payment amount. Moments later he entered the office and asked me what the problem was. I explained that I wanted real numbers as I already filled out the credit app. He argued that we could go no further until I signed it. Got angry and walked out. I told Yamile the rate I believed I would be given from my bank and the length of the loan I was looking for and she wrote that down on the paper and as I was signing it, Jeremy came back in the room and slammed my credit report down on the table. Then he went out and yelled at the finance lady. I’m not sure if that is appropriate in the workplace but I was embarrassed for both the ladies and angry that they had to put up with that behavior. My numbers came back and they were about 50% less than what he tried to force me to sign. If not for Yamile I would have walked away after his stunt yelling at her. I ended up with finance Arie Friel and he was wonderful and even apologized for the behavior of the Manager. I really hope Jeremy isn’t keeping more than he should from the sales he forces his way into overseeing. When the purchase started there was a another manager overseeing it and he was on the phone so Jermey told Yamile to bring it to him now and he would be handling it. Almost all of the people I met there were awesome so I don’t want to give a negative rating! More

Took 6 hours for them to determine that the wireless charger needed to be replaced. Had to reschedule for when parts would come in. Scheduled an appointment with Austen before leaving for 8/30. Came in this morning and was told they had no record of my appointment and that I'd have to wait all day or reschedule. Disappointed in the level of service at this dealership. I guess I'll be here all day again and don't think I'll be returning for service or for new vehicle purchase at dealership in the future. More
