This review is for the service department. I took my car in, under extended warrant, because it would hesitate when accelerating and then the check engine light came on. They sent me photos of I took my car in, under extended warrant, because it would hesitate when accelerating and then the check engine light came on. They sent me photos of a leak ( the photos were a nice touch). I then waited two weeks for it to be repaired. No updates, I had to reach out for updates and at times got one and others times didn't. We got the car back on 2-10-25. On Tuesday, the car started to hesitate when accelerating again. I called the service department back and told them the issue. The service tech said he didn't understand why this would happen and said we could bring it in. I asked if it the warranty would still cover it and he said no because my extended warrenty expired on 2-8-25. I told him this is still the concern I had when I dropped the car off two weeks ago and the warranty was not expired. He said the warranty company didn't care. I again told him, but you never addressed my original concern. He said he would pass my information on to the service manager and I can talk to him. He said he would call me on 2-12-25. It is now the evening of 2-13-25 and I have not heard a word. This was a lot to say I will never buy a car or service a car at any Autonation ever again. For reference, I have bought fours from Autonations in the past. Sad, people and companies don't take pride in their work. Also, the service tech said my wife needed brakes, took the car to a mechanic I take all my cars to and he said my breaks are almost brand new. The same mechanic fixed the problem and the car is running great. It did cost me 753 dollars because Autonation Buick mechanics can’t diagnose a Buick. More
Hate to be the guy to leave a public review but I am desperate on my lack of options so... Treat you great when you're giving them money, significant room for improvement when something goes wrong... desperate on my lack of options so... Treat you great when you're giving them money, significant room for improvement when something goes wrong... Turned my truck (2024 Denali 2500 HD Ultimate) in for repairs August 31st, 2024, think I may have received a single phone call the whole month of September. Had to physically go down across town and sit in the service department to speak to the service manager Brian about status and lack of updates in early October after numerous messages left with the service tech. Was given the standard your part is on back-order spiel, not able to find out anything from factory, factory this and that, blah blah blah. Was told I was being put on the list for a whole new transmission. After speaking with GMC customer care, doesn't look like that was ever done because they only seem me on the list for my original part. Have spoken to other dealerships who are receiving new transmissions pretty regularly after dealing with valve body back logs. Not mine though! This dealership seems pretty content with taking money for a new truck purchase and leaving you high and dry with payments while it collects dust outside of their service bays. Also, very comfortable with having me drive around in a rented Dodge Ram. Which is strange, I suppose brand pride isn't a thing anymore as long as the check clears. The Good: Office service Team was good, meet and exceeded expectations The BAD: SERVICE Technician left a mess. Oil was on top of oil fill engine cover. Excess oil drip down engine to frame and then on expectations The BAD: SERVICE Technician left a mess. Oil was on top of oil fill engine cover. Excess oil drip down engine to frame and then on my garage floor a when I got home. Tech did not clean anything when finishing oil change. Also Tech left oil stains on fuel cover when putting in fuel additive. Excess oil on engine leaked on frame and on my floor. This is a trend and has happened to me on prior visit and I complained but nothing has been done about it since last service visit. I will not be returning to this dealership especially since I keep having to clean up my truck after the Tech is supposedly done. More
Service Advisor should check to make sure car was completed before turning over the car to customers. My air tires was really low & luckily I checked the air pressure before leaving. Also I told the completed before turning over the car to customers. My air tires was really low & luckily I checked the air pressure before leaving. Also I told the advisor regarding the noise coming from under my car when driving between 3 to 10 miles. It’s the same noise I brought my car in on the 1st service. But the tech could not create the noise. Advisor said I will have to leave my car for 3 days because the tech is busy. I asked for a loaner advisor said they don’t have loaners but I can pay for a rental @ $44 a day. I don’t see why I have to pay for a rental when it’s the same noise I brought my car in for service. If the tech didn’t refill my tire pressure are they really looking for the problem I’m having with this car. I’m having doubts on this service dept. I’ve heard stories about how tech just do the minimum and easy work. My car is less than a year old & I don’t think I have to pay for a rental More
