We bought our used 2018 GMC Acadia here in the middle of the year 2022 it is now the first week of October 2023 in the last couple of months the engine light has come on we took it to the dealership to be l the year 2022 it is now the first week of October 2023 in the last couple of months the engine light has come on we took it to the dealership to be looked at and we were told that it was a module which they replaced under warranty of the certified pre-owned after picking up the car from that service 3 days later the engine light returned on we then took the car back and then we were told that it was the evap canister a thermostat sensor and a thermostat which I've never had a problem with the car overheating ever I went ahead and okayed the work any mechanic would know a thermostat housing has two gaskets on it one to seal the housing to the block and on the Arcadia there's one that seals housing to hose so I count two let's add a seal for the sensor which there's not it's Teflon tape or liquid sealant and the evap canister bolts in let's add a gasket for each side of that adding those up that's five seals went today went to pick up the Arcadia today and have been charged for nine seals six seals being 14.98 a total of $90 just doesn't add up guys they charged me five and a half hours to replace an a thermostat housing and a sensor Note their labor charge is $199 an hour ouch so the labor for that was 1,099.95 and then the labor to change the evap canister was 314.95 My total parts were $337 guys My total bill for an EVAP canister a thermostat housing and a sensor was $2,221.26 I will state that Jacob and the service department is very nice and understanding I was a little let's say outraged at this he totally kept his cool was very nice his manager on the other hand doesn't like they explain stuff but one of your paying that much money you kind of want to know what you're paying for just saying watch your guys's pocketbooks if you have any service then at this dealer More

Disappointed. Check engine light on. Failed emission test. AutoNation did not resolve the issue with the failed emission codes provided. I took my car to a State E Check engine light on. Failed emission test. AutoNation did not resolve the issue with the failed emission codes provided. I took my car to a State Emissions Technical Center for vehicle evaluation. State Emissions pulled #16115 Special Coverage Adjustment-Camshaft Position Oil Control Valve Warranty that was specific to my 2014 Lacrosse. I took #16115 back to AutoNation for them to fix my car, which they did at no charge due to #16115 warranty. More
