The emails from GMC are super friendly, and that is not the experience I have had when I call. They are honestly just cold and couldn't (wouldn't?) tell me about the anticipated length of my service, whet the experience I have had when I call. It said service had not started the entire time. Also, for a safety recall, I think you could thank me for taking the time? or apologize for the inconvenience? or wash it for me? none of that. My sense was that I was an inconvenience to your dealership. The more I think about it, it is another reason I will never buy a car from AutoNation again, and probably not a GMC vehicle at all. This is not the first or the second poor experience we have had with dealership customer service. In contrast, I have had excellent customer service experiences with the Schomp dealership in town. We bought a new Encore GX in June and returned in July for an instruction review of the systems. Our salesman was not there but Mr. Daniel Bernhardt came to our rescue. Even thou we did not buy the car from Daniel- he gave us his upmost time and attention to every question and then some. We do not hesitate to recommend Daniel Bernhardt to any and all who want a professional, knowledgeable and respectful salesman. We will definitely go to him for all our automobile needs. GMC Service Department is amazing. I had James as my service advisor. He took the time to explain to me what was being done on my car. The customer service was excellent.
