As a transporter, I was passing through on my way to FL when I had the stressful experience of my truck breaking down. I was not able to get any help from local mom & pop garages but found AutoNation GMC when I had the stressful experience of my truck breaking down. I was not able to get any help from local mom & pop garages but found AutoNation GMC by Google Search. I contacted the service department which was closing in 15 min and was told they could get me in first thing in the morning. The young lady that made my appointment for me over the phone was exceptional and went above and beyond to help me out. Even recommended local hotels for my stay. Despite the dealership having phone and internet problems that morning due to a power outage, I was still contacted by the service writer and kept me updated through the diagnosis process. The Diesel tech determined the problem with the truck was a faulty injector harness plug and was able to make the repairs before the end of his shift. By late afternoon, I was up and running and back on my way to FL. Time was of importance because I was trying to get back to RI for a scheduled cruise a couple of days later. Because of all the GREAT help from EVERYONE that I came in contact with at AutoNation, I am writing this review from my balcony on the cruise ship!! Cannot thank everyone at AutoNation enough and would definitely recommend!! More
3.5 hours to wait for a simple oil change (no tire rotation) while paying double the market rate is absolutely insane. And then it cost me another 4 hours on a different work day because the technician destroyed my tire and had to order a new one. Then THREE hours to change ONE tire. Then another hour because I had to return due to the technician not resetting the TPMS system. I have never seen this amount of incompetence requiring nearly 8 hours to complete an oil change and causing damage to my personal property. Oh, and there's no air conditioning in the waiting area and no lighting in the restrooms. Sitting in the dirty, neglected waiting area with over 80 degree temperatures for nearly 8 hours. The only redeeming aspect to this horrific experience is that the service advisor, Dmitri, was somewhat apologetic and empathetic during the entire ordeal. WORTHLESS SERVICE DEPARTMENT. Why would any kind of customer spend that kind of money to be treated like absolute garbage. You'll be out of business in under 3 years with this level of gross incompetence. GM Corporate will be notified of this experience. More
I have bought 3 trucks from this dealership and 2 of them. When I've brought in for service. Has either been wrecked. Dented or scratched when I got them back. I dropped my truck day before, for diagnostic. My truck got late start. Dealer not providing loaner and nor transportation to get you dropped off. The next day no one call me. I tried to call back like 5 times left 2 voicemails still never got called back. I called late afternoon finally someone answer and telling me all need to be done. I authorized some of the work and of course I discussed the price. When I picked my truck up, I got changed for the work wasn’t done. And when I asked for it they cannot explained it to me. I asked for refund. They said, I’ll take 3 months for my money to get back to my acct. i been working all they and tired I don’t want to stand they and argue so I just ask for credit of my $180.00. They only give me 3 free changes oil. This kind of service is not acceptable. The management need to do something about it. More
I had a problem with service I did not ask to be done by a service writer who could not follow the service request . I called asap got ahold of Chris the service manager and told him what happened . He asked when I could return so he could make it right. I said 10:00 AM the next morning. The right work was performed at no cost. Chris and Marcos turned a bad experience into a pleasant one. Highly disappointed, it’s actually one of the worst I’ve ever been to. Their employees seem to know what you’re talking about but it is completely pandemonium on the weekend.
