I am a girl that does her research on vehicles and had originally decided to go with the Chevy Equinox solely based on cost. Upon meeting Sam, he was professional and had a can do attitude. I was pleased with him telling me about an alternative option for me, the GMC Terrain. I compared the two and learned that the Terrain had more base features (back up camera assist, 7'' touch screen monitor, Bluetooth, and more!) which were options you'd have to add into on the Equinox. I decided to go with the Terrain and haven't been let down yet. Sam's knowledge and desire to get me into the perfect car for me impressed me. I've never had a sales man go over every inch of a car before a test drive. There was no rush, no pressure, just information for me to decide. Needless to say - I highly recommend Sam Johnson from FOX Buick, GMC in Laurel, MD. I can also say that the ease of my transaction during finance was seamless. I like their process, the price you agree on with sales is what you see in finance...this hadn't been true for me before. I decided to talk with Fox about purchasing a new car because I saw the car i wanted on their lot (Black Buick Regal). I bought my car from Fox because of Darryl Reid's service. He wasn't perturbed that I had brought with me pages of auto comparisons, including Consumer Reports. Mr. Reid answered all of my questions and those of my family clearly and respectfully - over a three day period. He walked me through the entire process of getting my fantastic automobile. We'll be back to buy our next vehichle from Fox and Mr. Reid. More

We did not have a good experience with Fox Chevrolet when shopping for a Buick Enclave. My husband's initial interaction with the salesperson (Daryl) was fine, but it went downhill fast. After I looked at the vehicle and we went to Daryl's desk to review pricing,I was dissatisfied with the price for the vehicle that we were just shown. For the price quoted, I preferred to have a different set or rims. Daryl proceeded to tell me what the rims would cost and I was unwilling to pay extra. Then he proceeded to play down what I wanted to see in the vehicle I was looking at purchase. He continued to make comments like "So, it's just about cosmetics" and "Well I've taken every vehicle I've bought and purchased the rims I wanted and had them put on" to the point that I became insulted. Then another salesmen (Joe), came over and proceeded to tell me that I could take the vehicle they were selling, drive it until the rims were no longer good and then go an get what I really want on the car. At that point I was extremely insulted. The dealership did not in no way try to work with us on the price. They tried to push the one vehicle off on us. Another salesperson, called my husband the following day and insulted him by asking him how long we've been married and saying "Well that's just something you should know about your wife". We will NEVER deal with Fox Chevrolet again and will dissuade anyone we know from going to them. Worst car shopping experience I've ever had. Win Kelly in Clarksville...that's where we ended up. More
They lied to me and said they match Carmax. they had me drive around and get the appraisal from Carmax and they copied and said we had a deal on my trade. I contacted this dealer through the Internet. I received a call back immediately and traded numerous emails. Since the dealership is not too close to my home, it was important for me to deal by phone and e a call back immediately and traded numerous emails. I dealt with was friendly, helpful, and eager to deal with a fair price. She made the process very easy and even enjoyable. I would definitely deal with Fox again. More
About 2 months ago I purchased a 2006 USED car with about 28,000 miles on it at FOX dealer...the price worked out fine. Even the manager was involved in the price negotiation. I also asked about the PREVIOUS SERVICE done to the vehicle...both the MANAGER and the SALESMAN told me the 30,000 miles service was already done!!...but guess what...THEY didn't even DO a thing to it....and how do i know??..... I only had the car for about a month after purchased...the GEAR wasn't shifting smoothly...so i took it to another dealer and had an oil change.....TOYOTA told me i should do the 30,000 miles service. I refused and told them it's already done by the dealer whom i purchased it from. WHEN i came to pick up the car they told me they checked....NOTHING WAS done on the car....AIR FILTER WAS dirty.....all the fluids in the car was turning black.....and now when i turn on th AC....it makes noise in the engine like its about to blow up which it had never done it before.......and it was 2006 model......i tried to call the salesman but no return phone calls......DO NOT BUY FROM FOX DEALERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
