Booked a standard oil change, and filter change appointment. Service was slow took almost 2 hours to finish the work. Later discovered the technician rushed to put back the fender cover and didn’t appointment. Service was slow took almost 2 hours to finish the work. Later discovered the technician rushed to put back the fender cover and didn’t secure it properly. We were travelling and not in the same county when we discovered the issue. Called the service department to find out how to get it fixed and ended up speaking to the manager who was very helpful. He arranged to get it fixed by another GM dealer the same day. More

I was waiting for a survey so I could make sure it gets to the correct personal. Yes, I found my way to the service department. Seems like each time I visit our experience is Not a very pleasant one. I had a coupon for the multi-point inspection and a 69.99 oil change. I also asked to have my state inspection taken care of. My service advisor was Russell Mallwain . I was told that I would receive a call when Acadia was ready. I decided to call at 4:00Pm, My appointment was at 11:30 Mr. Russell said he was about to call me, my vehicle was ready I asked about the inspection and he informed me he didn’t think it had been done. He said there was no one there to do inspection. I asked if he could find out and he informed me he would have to cross street and find out. I told him please call me, I will be waiting for your call. After 30 minutes my husband and I decided he was not going to call, we should just go pick up vehicle. We arrived there at 5:00 pm and Russell said he had gotten busy and didn’t call. We feel your service department lacks customer service. You said, and I quote,” Complimentary vehicle sanitization with every service.” That is a joke! Not only was that not true, but I found a half filled water bottle and my passenger seat reclined, AC set to 61 degrees on both sides. Looks like someone took a nap in my vehicle and left his trash in it. In comparison, we own a Nissan and a Toyota They have top notch service. Toyota has Toyota Care which gives a 3 year FREE OIL CHANGE. Our vehicles are vacuumed and washed every time we have them serviced. This will be my last vehicle I buy from GMC due to the service we receive. I will ask Toyota or Nissan if they might be able to serve my Acadia also, Russell told me if I want free tire rotation I should go to discount tires, and he would buy Toyota himself. Doesn’t speak very highly of Buick/GMC does it? Will keep copy of this email, so I can forward myself if necessary Love my Acadia but dissatisfied with service. More
