I use it for a weekend truck. One day it didn't start and took it to gmc autonation. Jason has always been really cool and friendly at the service center but had this other large man help me get my truck when it was ready. I went to my truck and found it all scratched up. From the front of the truck on driver side to the tailgate. The driver side mirror was scratched up with deep cuts. Was told it was not their fault because they only fixed the module that was on driver back side of truck. It could not be them. Was told it could have been the tow company. Was not tow company, I followed tow truck from my house where we loaded it on his truck to parking lot of gmc autonation. I asked the large man to speak to service manager and was told he would tell me the same. Service manager came out to my truck and said the same. Their equipment could NOT have done it. SO BASICALLY I'M DRIVING MY BRAND NEW BARELY DRIVEN DREAM TRUCK HOME LOOKING LIKE xxxx WITH SCRATCHES ALL OVER DRIVER SIDE. I WILL NEVER TAKE OR RECOMMEND ANYONE TO BUY OR TAKE THEIR VEHICLE HERE. One of the worst service department experiences. Set up an appointment on line to have an issue checked out. When I arrive a lady there told me it was 7-10 days before my truck would be seen and the Set up an appointment on line to have an issue checked out. When I arrive a lady there told me it was 7-10 days before my truck would be seen and then quickly advised in a rude manner that they don’t do rentals loaners. So tried to set up a later app and was told the exact same thing again and since it was a diesel they don’t have much help there so get it done when they could get to it. Do not write bad reviews unless it is over the top and needed. Took it to another dealer and done in 1 day. More
I had an excellent experience at Autonation South. Russell was transparent about the cost, explained the wait time, and even offered me coffee and water. My car can only be serviced at Auto Nation. Last time I went, my husband made an appointment online and I took my AT4 Yukon in to get oil change. We usually work with Jason but he was busy with another customer so I stood in front where there was this dark hair lady, who didn't even acknowledge me (I looked around like did I cut someone in line?), so I waited about 5 minutes (totally fine) and this lady in front was like "Yes?" I told her I had an appointment and she asked my name, I told her who I was and said my husband made an appointment online. She said "I don't see you on here." I told her my husbands name again and she asked if I made it online, and I told her yes "My husband did" as I kept trying to give her his name, but she kept cutting me off. She said, "no appointment....always call to make an appointment, don't ever book online, it doesn't work" she pointed and said "go stand over there at that desk" and said a name of the person I guess....was going to be at that desk? Then she kindly so sweetly helped the guy who in line behind me. As I stood in front of a empty desk. 😂😆 The girl at the back service desk ask me have I been helped? I said I was supposed to stand here I guess.."at this desk because she can't find my appointment" The brown haired lady in front was like "I told you to stand there because he takes care of walk in appointments" At this point, I felt like "what the heck!? Am I on some "don't lose your cool" show or something? The guy came back to his desk and I let him know about appointment that my husband made, and that I just needed oil change. He took my keys wrote my phone number on a tag and said they would call me when it was ready. My husband picked me up and as we were having lunch a customer service rep called my husband from the Auto Nation and asked how the service was? 😂 My husband kindly said "they told my wife there was no appointment, and the lady in front was pretty rude to her, as I heard her on the phone when my wife called me, and we just dropped off her car" the guy apologized, and said there was an appointment. We understand people get busy, and I'm ok to wait I understand, because I work customer service, but being rude is one thing and barking orders..that's when I begin to get a little ticked off. When picking up my car we stood there in the lobby and my husband said "there's Jason, but he was with another customer. So the girl in back service desk helped us and the girl sitting next to her was the one from this morning. She avoided all eye contact and didn't acknowledge us what so ever. When we were leaving we passed Jason and my husband told him about our appointment. Jason saw our appointment and my husband said that check in would have been so much easier if that girl would have just listened to me. I tried 3x to tell her my husbands name. Customer service is the face of your company, and I don't mind waiting, and mistakes happen, but bigger issues/mistakes come from when people don't listen to the customer. Yes I was in there for an oil change, but there were 2 things I wanted checked on my AT4 Yukon that broke and another that might need replacement, and that girl told me since I didn't have an appointment it would just be oil change nothing else. The two things are still a concern, but will wait until my next oil change to have them checked. Not sure if we will come back there or go to Houston where we bought my car as we don't take my AT4 to just ANY mechanic. We really liked y'all, over an hour of horrible customer service from one person is not ok. Jason can't be the only one that runs it there in service desk and only one respectable. More
