Hi Joe, If I have time to call back and let your service department know about my bad experience, I would have. We were busy getting ready to travel out of the country, which is the reason why I had to take the car in for service instead of my husband. I expected a 2-hour wait, which is why I was patiently waiting for 3 hours before I went and check on the car. We have serviced our car at your dealership for the past 10 years, and we certainly hope to be able to feel confident doing so in the future. I met with both the Acura client representative and our lead master technician and they both agreed that what they had experianced on the 15 mile test drive was completely normal. I have worked for Acura since 1996 and have been in and out of most every type of vehicle made. I have yet to experiance a car that did not make some kind of interior noise on the road at one point or another. I'm very sorry your expectations were not met by the Acura product or the feedback you received from those professionals involved. Mr. Spurrier: Thank you for your time in responding to my response. I did not share a pleasant experience as you stated because I do not have a reason to do so. I am very disappointed for even putting together a review in a negative fashion but I was left with no choice. Matter of fact it is very disappointing a great car such as the Acura TL has rattles when it is still brand new. Even worse, Acura fails and refuses to repair it. I can guarantee you Mr. Spurrier, if you are in my shoes, you would not keep quiet and live with the rattle. I have exhausted the attempts to allow your dealership and Acura to repair the problem. Actually, I was being too considerate and understanding to even allow the issue to drag on for 11 months. I remained patient and quiet hoping to have the issue resolved in a nice manner; however it did not. Regardless of what Rick and the Tech say, they both heard the rattle during our test drive. It is very unprofessional of all parties involved to dismiss the issue as if it’s nothing despite their acknowledgment of its presence in the vehicle. I have always been an Acura fan; hence the two new vehicles I purchased at your dealership: 2007 TSX and 2010 TL. My family has owned several Honda motor vehicles in the past and still does so today. After this experience, I promise you all of that will change. Despite the frustration, time, and effort Acura has caused me, I offered to trade in the vehicle for a newer model in lieu your dealership and Acura will give me a fair deal considering the ongoing rattle. Obviously, that did not go well. I do not plan on stopping here, I will seek legal counsel in terms of my possible options because I am paying for a very expensive vehicle and I deserve a lot better. I bought the vehicle and I will take the next necessary actions to get the right people involved. Just like any other Acura TL owner who purchased their vehicle brand new, I would like to enjoy my ride without worrying about a constant rattle in my left ear at all times I am behind the wheel. Could you imagine sitting in your brand new car (paying $523.50/month) with a rattle in your ear all the time? Thank you for your time. Ali
