I learned about AutoMax while I was looking for a relatively new used car, visited the dealership and test drove two of the cars I had previoulsy selected. I like the prices the delaership offered and will most defintely go there again. I was pleased with the service and the 2011 Honda Pilot I got is awesome. More
My son saw a car on line and went to xx. it out.2010 chevy malibu he drove the car and decided to buy it. he had some concerns about the car the brakes where squealing and it had a thumping sound in t chevy malibu he drove the car and decided to buy it. he had some concerns about the car the brakes where squealing and it had a thumping sound in the right front of the car.he was told it would be fixed before he picked up the car the air bag light was on as well. he asked to see the car fax and found it to be clean, so he thought. but when he did the paper work one of the last things he signed was a form stating that the car had body and paint work the paper was never explained to him he was just told to sign the form. he did not read it at that time [His Bad] A few days later he went to pick up the car he heard the same brake squealing he called his salesman Chris and made an appointment to bring it back. the next day he took it to Imperial Chevy in Mendon to get it inspected the air bag light was on recall so he had it fixed he also asked them to give the car a good checking out they found that it needed a caliper rotors and pads he told them that he thought Auto Max service had done the brakes. he was told that the brakes looked as if they where never done he was also told that the transmission had a very bad leak. he dropped the car off at Auto Max to have these things fixed, by the way he had the car for less than a week. when he dropped it off he was told it would take a day to fix so he asked if he could have a loner to drive to work he was told no problem but he had to pay for it, keep in mind he has had the car less than one week and has already spent his own money to have A sticker put on it and have A through inspection done on the car he told Auto Max that he was broke and would they please give him the loner at no charge. He was told NO. he dropped the car off on a Thursday and when he called on Friday he was told they had to order the part for the transmission and it would not be done till Monday WOW great way to make some extra money on the rental. When he picked the car up on Monday he was told it was all set brakes where done and the tranny was fixed he was told it was the right side axle seal. after a few more days he felt a vibration in the front end at around 60 mph this time i took the car back to Auto Max spoke to Chris and he reffered me to Lou in service he told me he would have to xx. it out to see if it really had a problem i decided not to have Lou look at it based on the last time we took it back so again we took it to Imperial Chevy we had the tires balanced witch by the way are miss matched and A four wheel aliment done. I asked that they xx. the front end out for any signs of replaced parts because of our concerns about the car having had body and paint work. they did this for us at no charge and upon inspection told us that the rear brakes where good but the front brakes needed to be changed soon,keep in mind that in the very beginning my son told them that the brakes where squealing but the best part was when they told us that the right front axle seal was leaking badly same one they said they had fixed remember my son had to wait the weekend so Auto Max could GET THE PART [YA RIGHT] MORE LIKE GET THE EXTRA 2 DAYS ON THE RENTAL . A TOTAL SCREWING I have the paper work from AUTO MAX saying they replaced the right front axle seal and i also have the paper work saying that the chevy DLR..found it to be leaking badly and replaced it. DONT WALK RUN FROM AUTO MAX YOU WILL BE DOING YOUR SELF A FAVOR More

When I suddenly found myself in the market for a vehicle to replace my 11 year old Toyota which failed its emissions test on Friday, July 6th and was going to cost upwards of $2,500 to repair I immediately to replace my 11 year old Toyota which failed its emissions test on Friday, July 6th and was going to cost upwards of $2,500 to repair I immediately thought of AutoMax Preowned. My Brother had purchased two vehicles at various times from them and was quite pleased with the sales staff, vehicle pricing, quality and selection of vehicles. I figured I'd give them a try myself. I was not disappointed...and you won't be either. On Monday, July 9th, I searched their inventory online to narrow my choices for both vehicle and price. I then lined up my financing through my credit union and headed over to the Marlborough AutoMax location right after work. Chris Trombley promptly and sincerely greeted me and asked if he could help me. I told him the vehicle I was interested in seeing and test driving. Within a few minutes he had the vehicle ready to go out for my test drive. Upon returning from the test drive I thoroughly looked over the vehicle and was satisified that I wanted to purchase it. Chris introduced me to Stuart Sterling, Finance Manager who then began the process of preparing the sales order and all of the related documents, trade in allowance for my old vehicle etc... In very short order the sales order was done and faxed to my credit union and I was headed home quite happy. Tuesday evening, July 10th, I brought the check from the credit union over to Stuart and to finalize the transaction. After work on Wednesday, July 11th I picked the vehicle and took it home. It was the most efficient and painless vehicle purchase transaction I have ever done. Pretty much all said and done inside of a day or so. They preped the vehicle the same as any dealer would and amke sure I was aware of the various features and functions of the vehicle before I left the lot with it. I can honestly say AutoMax deserves a "Great" rating because my personal experience was great. The sales and finance staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The no haggle pricing takes so much aggravation out of the car buying experience and makes it an efficient, straightforward process to get to the end goal of buying a vehicle. I have already referred them to three of my colleagues at work and I would definitely buy from them again at either of their locations. Great people, great vehicles and great prices!
