I had not purchased a vehicle in over 10 years and was not looking forward to the experience. I did my research online and found that Automax had the best prices and their website was very comprehensive not looking forward to the experience. I was pleasantly surprised with the staff at Automax. Paul DiCarlo was the salesman. There were no pressure sales tactics at all. They answered all of my questions and provided all of the information that I needed to make my decision. The general manager, Tom Sullivan was also very friendly and helpful. Once I made the decision to purchase my vehicle, Al Huberman assisted me with the financing. I had done my research on rates, but he beat them all. He even let me take his only copy of the warranty home to review before I decided to purchase. Even after I had purchased my vehicle and they had the sale complete, Paul realized that there was no manual as it was a used car. He got me a manual with a case and dropped it off at my office. I believe that I got a very good vehicle at a good price. Paul, Tom and Al were awesome. I would recommend Automax to anyone. More
This is a great dealer because they are pleasant and professional to deal with. Even when my normally marvelous husband turned into a swaggering, arrogant, foul-mouthed, class A zipperhead, they maint professional to deal with. I had a great experience at Automax in Framingham. I ending up buying a 2010 Infiniti ex35. I was at first a little hesitant about going to a used car dealership, however after working with the sales g ending up buying a 2010 Infiniti ex35. I was at first a little hesitant about going to a used car dealership, however after working with the sales guy there I totally changed my mind. I was originally looking at 2008 Infiniti ex35's, but when I realized what they were charging for a certified pre-owned 2008 with 25,000 miles I changed my mind fast when I saw the almost new 2010 with all the options I wanted with only 6000 miles at Automax. Absolute worst dealership experience I've had in recent memory.You're important while they are trying to screw you over with the sales price and tell you your trade in isn't in working condition but then i memory.You're important while they are trying to screw you over with the sales price and tell you your trade in isn't in working condition but then it's on their lot selling and lowball you on the price of it but as soon as you have to come back it you're ignored.It's sad when you're not really sure about the buying experience and they have you keys and trade in around back so you can't get it.The salesmen are arrogant,the financing guy far from caring and they all seem more interested in spending their time smoking then anything else.I wish I had never bought there and would avoid buying from them at all cost.Buyer Beware. We had a very pleasant experience at this dealership. We had initially intended on buying a Nissan Rogue but we were absolutely in love when Paul DiCarlo showed us a Nissan Murano. There was no pressure to buy either of the cars and Paul allowed my husband and I time to discuss the purchase and to make our decision. He didn't even hesitate when we asked to see some other cars before making our final decision. It was a very busy day in the dealership (Saturday) but we were only there for 2 hours and drove the car off the lot the same day. Everyone was extremely friendly and courteous. We would highly recommend this dealer to people who are looking for a no fuss, no gimmick, hassle-free experience! Dan Johnson was also extremely friendly and helpful with our purchase and helped us through the paper work process which ended up being painless and quick! I went to Automax on the 19th of February to look at a Chevrolet Camaro. I liked the car and we agreed to a price of 21,995 they would also give me $500 for my car for a total of $21495. We shook on the deal and I gave them my credit card to place a $1000 deposit. Ten minutes later they said that they do not have the title yet, it was being mailed, and they should receive it Tuesday since Monday was a holiday. I towed my car to the Automax lot on Monday so they could take a look and agree the price for the trade-in which they did. I called them each day Tuesday-Friday asking if the title came in but they said no which makes believe that they did not have one which I believe is illegal. On Saturday at 12:15 they called and said they received the title a week after we agreed to the deal but would need a bank check. I told them I could see what I could do because my bank would probably be closed by the time I could drive there. I could not make it to the bank in time and it is closed on Sunday so I would have to go Monday for it. On Monday I received a voicemal from the salesperson Paul stating that I had to have my car removed from the lot. I called them back and said I don't understand what is going on here. I told them I can give them a check but they now said that the price would be $22,995. I told them that we had a hand shake deal and I waited a week for them to obtain the title but they just said that is the nature of the business. I would like this company to be decertified, the customer service was awful, they backed out of the deal they agreed to, and they leave a rude voicemail just telling me to have my car removed from the lot. I know buying cars is not the best experience but this by far is the worst service I have received in any line of business. I would never purchase a car from this company and would never recommend this dealership to anyone. More

Three women walk into a dealership. . . No this isn't a joke. Two of them were helping me look for a used car. Paul DiCarlo didn't even flinch. He was wonderful! Friendly, helpful, logical. We had narrowed our search down to three, and without pushing us one way or the other, Paul talked about the pros and cons of each and helped me to make a decision, after letting all of us go on test drives! Al was also fantastic! He managed to research my financial background, find a lender and do all that needed to be done so that I was able to drive home (to the western part of the state) that same afternoon! What a great deal that was! And Tom Sullivan was just plain entertaining! I loved not having to haggle, felt that they were very reasonable and gave me what my car was worth, and they were friendly and fun to deal with! It was the best experience I have ever had in buying a car!! More
