Purchasing a car from AutoMax of Framingham was a wonderful experience. Kathy Pena was great sales person; not pushy. Painless purchase. Easy to work with. Overall didn't waste time and got the car within a day. Had the car I wanted with low miles. Interior could've been a tad better. I mainly worked with Paul and he was very friendly and accommodating. I was looking at a few cars and he was extremely patient. I also worked with Al he also made my experience there wonderful. I just bought a 2008 Nissan Altima and love the car. There were a few minor issues but have been reassured by Brian that they would be taken care of. I really liked my salesperson. He was very friendly and worked well with me. The guy who handled the financing was a bit gruff, but overall was good too. Overall, I was satisfied with the purchase experience. The service manager Luis was accommodating and addressed all of my concerns. I was stupid and didn't take the car to my mechanic before purchasing/registering. The day after I purchased the vehicle I noticed some strange revving of the RPM's so I brought it to the Nissan dealer in Norwood. They noticed some fault codes on the computer and the vehicle needed a transmission valve case which was covered by Nissan warranty. However, they also noticed that both bushings on the right and left lower control arms were cracked and needed to be replaced. The brakes were also 90% worn and needed to be replaced. I noticed the front tires were new, but the rear were mismatched and more worn so those needed to be replaced as well. They said the car would not pass inspection based on the control arms and brakes. All total, they quoted me at $2500.00 to get the car to pass inspection. Granted, that's dealer pricing, but even a local mechanic would charge close to $2,000 for all of that work. I nearly had a heart attack when they said that as I assumed Automax wouldn't take care of any of it. I spoke with the service department at Automax and they made an appointment for me to come in the following week. They said they'd do whatever they needed to make me satisfied, but just needed to confirm the Nissan dealer's diagnosis which they did. I brought it in and they replaced the pads and rotors all around, matched the tires and replaced the lower control arms. They did the work in one day and gave me a loaner as well. Nissan took care of the transmission issue the next day so the car is running like new. I wasn't sure if Automax would take care of everything, but they did. All lot of places would have given me a hard time, so I definitely recommend them for purchasing a higher quality used car. More

Very good experience at AutoMax. Took the car home the next day and was surprised to discover it needed front brakes...I called Lou in Service Dept and he told me to bring it in and they would take care of it...I made appt and went in a few days later and Luis handled it without hassle. I would highly recommend this dealership for the purchase of your next car. They have a very low pressure sales technique and you can actually look at the cars without 5 sales people running up to you ever 2 of your next car. They also had the cleanest cars on their lots compared to all the other dealers that I visited. Sales people were extremely friendly and helpful as well as very knowledgeable. I had the salesman telling me facts about my trade in that only someone who loved cars or who had owned one would have known. My only complaint that I would have is in regards to the trade in value that I had received. It was far in under the Kelly Bluebook trade in value as well as $1,500.00 less than the guaranteed minimum trade in value that I received based of the Auto Trader trade in value off their website. I do not believe this had anything to do with the dealer itself. I visited several dealers and all of them offered me right around the same price for the truck. I would just caution that if you are planning to get the “guaranteed trade in value” from Auto Trader that you be prepared for a lower offer. I only wish the dealers would contact Auto Trader and have them give you a more accurate quote on your trade in. However I would have to say that this was one of the best experiences I have had with any car dealerships and I would highly recommend you checking them out. Both Brian and Kevin the two sales people that I dealt with were extremely friendly and helpful. I will certainly give them my repeat business. Chris More
Great car at a great price. There was no pressure. I told them what i wanted and they did there best to get me what i wanted. Sold me there car for quite a bit lower than the book value to close the deal wit them what i wanted and they did there best to get me what i wanted.
