I'm recommending as they did make sure to maximize my visit. While at the dealership, it was discovered I needed my yearly ispection... something I wasn't expecting as I bought the car in December. I appreciate the proactiveness, but a bit bummed my car lasted only 5 months on inspection from the purchase. Also, upon my drive home, the low tire pressure light came on which was extremely frustrating since I had my tires rotated. It was discovered all were filled to 35psi, but the door sticker says 38psi. All 4 tires needed air and a reset of the tirepressure button. Just a little frustrating to be at a dealership and then having a warning light come on within a mile of home. Also, I noticed the sticker in my car advising of my next oil changes says to come back in 5,000 miles, but I'm pretty sure I can go up to 10,000 miles based on previous experience and information. I recently had an issue with my 2012 Jetta that my mechanic was unable to fix. I took it over to Colonial, and I was amazed with the service department. I met with Chad Condon, the service advisor, and he will be the reason I will continue to take my vehicle to this establishment. I'm not familiar with her owns Colonial Volkswagen, but Chad is as professional as they come. Thank you Mr. Condon, and thank you Colonial Volkswagen for all of your help! More

They wanted to charge me $1,200 to repair a heating element in the AdBlue tank (part of the emission system; how ironic). They also told me I needed an oil change which I thought was done several weeks earlier at 50,000 mile maintenance performed by YBH VW (Prior to the change in ownership). Colonial VW told me they have the old records and the work was not performed. I approved the work. After picking up the vehicle I looked thru my paperwork and found the oil had been changed just weeks before. More astonishing is the new price. YBH VW charged $71.40 for the oil change. Colonial VW charged $150 for the same oil change. Labor was more than double and all parts increase by about 40%. Watch out. they have proven to be deceitful and their prices are ridiculous. Amazing for a company/dealership I thought would do what they can to keep me as a customer after the diesel dilemma. They lost this life time customer. Looking forward to selling my vehicle back and not having to use Colonial VW for service work every again. Existing and future customers.....watch out! Proceed with caution! More
