Searched and found Colo Had been unhappy with another local VW dealer's failure to respond to my questions about options and accessories for new VWs. Searched and found Colonial VW, stopped in and was introduced to Matt Cohen. He listened (very patiently) to all of my questions and went out of his way to find answers. I have purchased a number of new cars in the past and this was by far the most positive car-buying experience I've ever had. There was no hype, no pressure. Chuck handled financing details for me, and even when we got to the stage of discussing options to purchase warranties, it was remarkably low key. Overall, an excellent experience. More

They wanted to charge me $1,200 to repair a heating element in the AdBlue tank (part of the emission system; how ironic). They also told me I needed an oil change which I thought was done several weeks earlier at 50,000 mile maintenance performed by YBH VW (Prior to the change in ownership). Colonial VW told me they have the old records and the work was not performed. I approved the work. After picking up the vehicle I looked thru my paperwork and found the oil had been changed just weeks before. More astonishing is the new price. YBH VW charged $71.40 for the oil change. Colonial VW charged $150 for the same oil change. Labor was more than double and all parts increase by about 40%. Watch out. they have proven to be deceitful and their prices are ridiculous. Amazing for a company/dealership I thought would do what they can to keep me as a customer after the diesel dilemma. They lost this life time customer. Looking forward to selling my vehicle back and not having to use Colonial VW for service work every again. Existing and future customers.....watch out! Proceed with caution! More
