Don't Take Your Car Here for Service Don't take your car here for service. I called around noon explaining my situation that I wouldn't be able to get my car brought in to just have a pre Don't take your car here for service. I called around noon explaining my situation that I wouldn't be able to get my car brought in to just have a preliminary check for what could be wrong with it until later in the afternoon. I was assured over the phone that this wouldn't be an issue. However, when I finally got there at 4:30, I was told that they wouldn't be able to look at my car because their technicians leave at 5. I should also add that their website says their service hours are open until 6. All I needed was someone to just diagnose what was wrong with it, I knew where the fault was, so it wasn't like they would have to search far and wide for the issue. The whole time from the minute I walked in, I felt they had predetermined that they didn't want me as a customer, simply because it was towards the end of they day and they wanted to go home. I sacrificed time at MY job so I could get there in what I thought was a reasonable amount of time to just be able to point out what the problem could be. In summary, take your car for service elsewhere, your time is much more valuable to another dealership than it is to theirs. More

I was in contact with a lot of people from different places, and the staff at Newtown Square VW were by far the nicest, easiest, and most logical people to help me in my first car buying experience. They were great with communication, and were always prompt to answer any questions that I had. More importantly they helped reach an agreement on a car that I very much wanted, and definitely left the dealership smiling and content with my new car. I would recommend that all new car buyers head over to the Newtown Square VW. I also would give them 10 stars if I could! Chez and Miguel were a huge help! More

Great Service BUT Still Worried It’s hard to wire a review- I think the dealer and the service staff are wonderful - really nice people who know how to deliver quality customer servi It’s hard to wire a review- I think the dealer and the service staff are wonderful - really nice people who know how to deliver quality customer service. HOWEVER, I brought in a car (that was running great) for an airbag recall and routine inspection / oil change. The service was quick - top notch! Two days later the steering wheel froze and the car wouldn’t start; two days after that the my wife calls me to report that she is concerned because the check engine light is lit on the display. Back to service we go - where they said it needed spark plugs (that we’re not recommended from the first multipoint inspection). OK ... we do the spark plugs and less than two days later my wife calls to tell me the check engine light is back on and a new warning light (EPC) is lit AND the car is bucking like a bronco. Turn the car off and back on - the EPC light goes away as does the bucking! Now we are back for the third visit - I experienced the EPC light as well on the way to the dealer. This time they blame the whole problem on bad gas - handing me a leaflet about the benefits of buying specific brands of premium. There has never been a drop of anything but high octane gas in the car since day one. I was given two bottles of gas additive and sent on my way. I hope this solves the problem but I don’t have the same confidence in the safety and reliability of the vehicle - as this is the car my wife drives it remains a concern for me. More
