There may be a car that I did receive a phone call on March 6th. It's been over a month since the initial inquiry. I'm not saying don't buy here. There may be a car that meets your needs. and budget. Just make sure you due your due diligence. My expectations were not met. Dealer needs to improve process and training. Britt seems to think that passing a state inspection is equivalent to a car inspection. It's not. A state is only for safety. When I pointed that out as a sales tactic, this person accused me of calling them names and cut off communication. Not my demeanor at all. Why would you do that? Odd behavior. Several e-mails sent to them stated to contact me when the price was lowered since they are non-negotiable. Those e-mails were ignored. Nothing. I don't profess to know the business philosophy here but for experienced buyers, you'll need to pay for a pre-purchase inspection. It's unclear what their position is if a pre-purchase inspection uncovers issues. I don't see any evidence that they do any serious reconditioning. In theory, one could have worn rotors and pads but still pass state inspection. Everything is situational based on age, milage, service history, and number of owners. If the car is over 80K miles expect out of pocket expense sooner rather than later, Value and reliability is based on what you can verify. More
Dealership confirmed that the car I inquired about was there and scheduled me for a test drive that same day but before I could get there I was told it was sold and that they could offer me an older car, there and scheduled me for a test drive that same day but before I could get there I was told it was sold and that they could offer me an older car, higher mileage, and higher price. I didn’t appreciate the “lure and switch game”. More
