Deceptive sales practices. Went to see a car listed on the internet for ~25K. When I went with the salesman I asked why it was on sale for so long, gave me some song and dance a Went to see a car listed on the internet for ~25K. When I went with the salesman I asked why it was on sale for so long, gave me some song and dance about how they keep their nicer cars inside until its nice out, which wasn't likely since A) It was on sale since end of summer last year and B) Its a lower tier compared to the other cars they sell and C) anybody would know since its listed online. As soon as we walked out I saw the sticker price, and was in shock. 27,999K which wasn't far off for that car if I went back in time 7 years ago and it rolled off the factory. I asked the salesman about the price, and was told that they *just* lowered it from a higher price (yeah right) so I was in luck. I pointed out the price they listed all over on cars.com and autotrader, was told they do not honor internet prices. Pointed out the fair retail price from NADA, but the salesman would have none of it. I could not have driven off that parking lot fast enough. Do not reward shady dealers like this with your business. If you are one of those people who have more money than sense, do us all a favor and stick to a reputable dealer. More
