Best Car Buying Experience Thus Far!! My experience with Auto Showcase was the best car buying experience I have ever had. I found my car on their website on a Friday. I submitted an inquiry on the following Monday via website and Robert responded immediately. I live out of state so Robert emailed me the car fax and we discussed the car over the phone. By the close of business that day, Robert called and said the deal was done. I did not have to spend hours of my day at the car lot and husband was there maybe 20 minutes to finish the deal and drive off the lot. The car was everything they said it was. I am very pleased with my purchase and the service. Everyone I spoke with at Auto Showcase was very professional and made buying my car so enjoyable. I will definitely be a returning customer. Thank you Robert and Auto Showcase. More
BEWARE of HOLIDAY MOTORS! BEFORE BUYING FROM HOLIDAY MOTORS READ THIS FIRST!!! I purchased a 2007 Mazda CX7 from Holiday motors January 5, 2015. The process started off BEFORE BUYING FROM HOLIDAY MOTORS READ THIS FIRST!!! I purchased a 2007 Mazda CX7 from Holiday motors January 5, 2015. The process started off when I called them about the car when I saw it online. I explained to them that I was driving there from Burnet (about an hour and 15 minutes away...) to look at and possibly purchase. They told me they would hold the car and I was approved for regular financing. When I arrived, they initially tried to get me on some sort of 2nd chance financing without even running my credit! So I left. The next day they called and said that they were sorry and they could finance the car like the initial conversation. So, I said OK and they actually came and picked me up! They showed me their autocheck report and it looked OK, so I didn't purchase a carfax..(big mistake!, MAKE SURE TO PURCHASE A CARFAX IF YOU BUY HERE!!! It turns out that the car had been in an accident on the front and rear..of course they told me it hadn't been in an accident). Anyway, before he would finance me, he really pushed their extended warranty (which he said covered everything - and on paper it looked like an excellent deal) and said that if I purchased it, they would lower my APR. It seemed like a good deal at the time so I agreed for an extra $1750 on my credit card. Anyway, moving on... On my way home from the dealership (15 miles from dealership!), the check engine light turned on. I called them 1st thing in the morning and they told me to call the warranty folks and take it to my mechanic. After doing as they instructed, my mechanic said no way...take it to Mazda as it's a major repair needed. So, off to Mazda I went. After Mazda and the extended warranty company investigated, they both said that there was no way that the dealer (Holiday Motors) didn't know about the problems. The warranty company wouldn't cover any of the problems since they were "pre-existing". I contacted the salesman (Joe), the finance manager (Carlos) and anybody I could talk to. Carlos tried to tell me everything was OK and that they'd get it fixed. Well, I had to call multiple times on a daily basis in order to get any sort of news on how they were going to make things right. Finally, they said that they'd cover SOME of the bill..and I'd have to pay the rest ($500 out of pocket!). At this time I had owned the car for 3 weeks and only had in my possession for 3 days before it went to the mechanic (Georgetown Mazda -- these guys were great BTW. They can tell you about how crooked Holiday motors is as well...). Anyway, Holiday Motors / Carlos basically did all they/he could to win the war of attrition and just outlasted me in the fight so I gave in because I didn't want to even think about it anymore (my car was at the shop from 1/7 - 1/26 -BTW). So, I had to ask Carlos to give me my money back for the extended warranty (that apparently doesn't cover anything. For example, a month after this ordeal, I had a water pump go out and they wouldn't approve the repair on it either! ---another $393.03). He did agree to refund the money for the warranty, however, that was over 3 months ago and I still don't have my money!!! THEN, after all the repairs were done they basically stopped returning my calls and avoided me. I simply wanted my money back for the warranty that he said that he was going to get me. This was agreed upon the last week of January. Well, as of May 4th, I still don't have my money! HOLIDAY MOTORS OWES ME $1750 and they won't answer and/or return my calls! Update (5/12/15), I did a charge-back with my credit card for the warranty and they of course disputed it. However, I received a notice from the warranty company (ALPHA) that the warranty has been canceled... BUT, I still didn't receive my money!?! I've tried to call and no answer/no return call. The credit doesn't even show up on my auto loan statement. HOLIDAY MOTORS IS THE WORST PLACE YOU COULD POSSIBLY BUY A CAR. ALL THE MONEY YOU THINK THAT YOU ARE SAVING, YOU WILL ACTUALLY SPEND MORE IN ONE WAY OR ANOTHER ANYWAY. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND LOOK ELSEWHERE!!! More
