The car was wrapped, not painted. The doors wouldn’t open initially.. and there were $3000 worth , at least, of added fees on top of the listed price. And if the wheels, rims are nice, add another $1000. Sales person, Frank, was nice and helpful but he was set up to fail. Large lot, inventory but I left sure I wouldn't buy there. Went there despite the horrible reviews, I really liked the car, but it was not what I anticipated. Be weary… More

There are many grey areas inside California's state tax laws regarding vehicle sales, and how they are handled by dealerships, which is why it makes auto republic shady, by telling me I have to pay Cali state taxes (instead of me paying only the sales tax in the state I live in, like every other state) because I chose to go with my own loan company instead of going with their loan company, or paying cash. The level of unprofessionalism towards me by the company's director of operations was completely uncalled for. He started the "conversation" by being very short with me, getting an attitude with me, continuously interrupting me while I tried to state my case, I had to over talk him multiple times while he insisted I knew nothing. The man was abbreviating unnecessary amounts of profanity towards me while arguing that I had little to no understanding of how laws worked. If the man had any professionalism in him, we possibly could have reached an agreement, as I was wanting him to give me a link to the state of California's tax laws on paying their state tax when buying a vehicle, using my own finance company, and hiring a transportation company to move said vehicle out of California to another state. I admit, I was wrong, I "POSSIBLY" would have been reimbursed by California for paying its state taxes after months to years of waiting, which no one should have to go through (it's the government, who's in no hurry to do anything). But then after calling around to multiple dealerships in California, I was given a resounding amount of "you do not have to pay California sales tax if you are financing with your own loan company, and hiring your own vehicle transportation company to move said purchased vehicle out of the state". Weird... Why would the director of operations take such an extreme defensive stance towards me calling them out if the "LAWS" state facts, but at the same time I do my own research and inquire from various sources around the area, including multiple forums with cited works from the state of California, say I don't owe their state's sales tax by following the necessary steps, which I was? BUYER BEWARE! Potential buyers need to be warned of this and need to take the necessary precautions if confronted with this. More
I was directed to AR through my School's First Credit Union and found exactly what I was looking for. I was extremely excited as they had exactly what I was looking for within my price parameters and wer Union and found exactly what I was looking for. I was extremely excited as they had exactly what I was looking for within my price parameters and were recommended through my credit union for easy shopping. However, the advertised price did not match the out the door price (excluding normal sales tax and registration fees which are to be expected) because they added on a total of $2500.00 in "options" to the vehicle that are not optional nor included in the listing price. It falsely advertises at "great price" or "great value" when listed at the incorrect price. Considering this car has been on the lot for over 11 months I tried negotiating with them regarding the features they added on and they refused to remove them and told me they would rather the car sit there then meet my reasonable offer and lower their out the door price by less than $1700.00. If you are ok with being baited at a lower price and willing to pay their bogus "add-on" fees despite it not adding any real value to the vehicle, this may be the place for you as I will never shop there again. Buyer beware internet prices are not correct! Got to the dealership and found a vehicle, when I asked for the total price out the door they added $2,500 on top of the sales tax to the total price of the car dealership and found a vehicle, when I asked for the total price out the door they added $2,500 on top of the sales tax to the total price of the car. Be advised whatever the internet price is be prepared to add 5,000 more dollars onto that. When i said i wasnt buying, the salesman told me I should go find a car I could afford. Going to another dealership ASAP. Not how a veteran should be treated. More

These guys will rip you off if you aren't careful Make sure you negotiate the price and not the payments, these guys will load you up with fees and stretched out financing if you don't pay attention. Make sure you negotiate the price and not the payments, these guys will load you up with fees and stretched out financing if you don't pay attention. Focus on the price when negotiating don't let them talk about monthly payment. We got absolutely hosed here and almost paid double the price of the car was worth. Be careful please. More
