Auto Lenders of Voorhees

Purchased a car in 2018 (2014 Acura MDX) that had an issue off the lot. After back and forth the dealer swapped out the car. Overall a fair transaction. Traded in that car at another dealership a couple of years later. Gave the dealership another chance at the start of January 2023. Purchased a 2017 Lincoln MKX. Same day off the lot - a check engine light came on. Bought in for service and catalytic converter replaced covered by dealer. Picked up, 5 days later check engine light back on - service says the other catalytic converter needs to replaced. This time am being charged $170 (according to rep at service dept). Hopefully, this will fix the issue but just feels off thinking that both front and rear converters failed. I also happened to scan for codes initially and received different codes than what their service department has reported leading me to believe that the BCM is failing or possibly an electrical/sensor issue somewhere. Have had the car to actually drive for about 8 days total since purchase. Has been in the service department for about the same amount of time. The check engine light I believe prevents the car from passing NJ state inspection as well. All in all, both transactions ended up with cars with issues off the lot. Both times the cars were priced up in the 20's so wouldn't think I would be dealing with these items in particular. NOTES The dealership is pleasant and sales process is easy. They do offer service contracts which is an option but I have purchased 6 other cars in the past 10 years and have not had these issues with other dealerships. The service department appears to be good with customer communication - quick to update you on the status, etc. of the car (new at this location). I cannot yet determine the quality of their techs as this car has been in 2x now. The cars are mostly in good condition physically depending on price point. I have however witnessed quality issues with both purchases. I am doubting the reliability of the car at this point so cannot see myself purchasing from Auto Lenders again nor recommending them. I do however see a large number of positive reviews online so maybe just bad luck with them. If you are thinking about purchasing I would push for an extended multi-day test drive. Both times I test drove the cars for about an hour but still ended up with problems off the lot. More

I found a car that I thought would fit my needs at the AutLenders in Egg Harbor township. I put in a request to get more information on this car. He said he could have the car at an Auto Lenders closer to me, which was Auto Lenders in Voorhees. I said that would be perfect. I made an appointment for Monday at 6:45. When I walked in to the building someone greeted me right away. I did have the wrong name of the salesman but that was my fault. Zack was very kind and personable and a pure pleasure to work with. Although I did not want to take the car home with me that night, your whole team worked with me. Everyone was so nice and there was no pressure. It was so refreshing to come to Auto Lenders and find out what an amazing place of business it is. I encountered several members of your team, Zack, Lew and Vish and all of them were so down to earth and easy to work with. All of these team member made sure that there was 2 way communication, which is not easy to encounter when looking to purchase a vehicle. Even though I did not take the car that night, Zack reached out to me via text and thanked me for coming in. I reached out to Zack in the morning and he let me know the Vish would be reaching out to me. Vish had already sent me a text to give him a call at 10 o'clock, which I did. Vish was very professional and understanding. we came to an agreement I just want you to know the I will recommend Auto Lenders to everyone who will listen to me. This is an update to a prior review. ...I bought my car from their Voorhees, NJ location and it was not without its problems. I am guessing it "fell through the cracks" as things sometime ...I bought my car from their Voorhees, NJ location and it was not without its problems. I will say this however: they were quick to repair everything that was wrong, kept me in the loop daily, and I now have my car back and it's as perfect as it should have been in the first place. A little inconvenience to have the car be RIGHT was well worth it. They also provided me a rental car while mine was being repaired, at no cost to me. The sales experience was excellent- Jeff was great! The car was fairly priced and they treated me great on my trade value. All things considered, I would recommend Auto Lenders to anyone looking for a vehicle- problems happen in business; they are unavoidable. The key is how they're resolved, and AL did a great job at resolving my issues. More
