I bought a car on July 10th. I made sure (in writing) that financing was APPROVED before I signed and drive off in the car. I made it very clear that I did not want to drive a car I didn't own. Everything was fine for 9 days. Suddenly and without warning, Autoland needed me to sign a different financing agreement. In Maryland, dealer sales are final after four days (maximum). If the dealer wants to take car back, they have to legally repossess it. Instead, Autoland stole the car from my driveway. More
My car (2010 challenger) broke down outside of Accident MD 7 weeks ago. Needless to say it is still not fixed. The first week they had other work and could not look at my car to the end of the week (totall MD 7 weeks ago. Needless to say it is still not fixed. The first week they had other work and could not look at my car to the end of the week (totally understand) The second week they informed me that it was the timing belt that broke, later that week they informed me that some of the valves were not holding pressure, resulting in them having to take the engine apart for repair. Weeks 3-5 they were ripping the motor apart and waiting for back ordered parts. On saturday at the end of week 6 after calling they informed me that it was all good it just needed to be timed. I called back tuesday where they again informed me its all good just needs timed.. so i called today (2-20-2014) to confirm the time i can pick up my car friday, only to be informed that there is still a cyclinder issues and it may be ready next week. As of right now Dodge corprate has "launched" a service review/investigation. After having Dodge HQ call them the service manager said he would provide me a rental car. If the service department is a example of this dealership i would stay very far away. Just a finishing note- They have never called me to update me on the repair work, i have had to call them everytime. Please beware. More
While traveling this past weekend , our lemon of a Dodge Magnum broke down on us again. This car has less than 10000 miles on it & has been in theshop many times. Our regular dealer was of no h Magnum broke down on us again. This car has less than 10000 miles on it & has been in theshop many times. Our regular dealer was of no help to us in this matter, & since we were out of town Chrysler sent our Magnum to the Accident Garge to be fixed. While witing for the service I jokingly told one of the salesmen I would love to trade back to a PT Cruiser, but out regular dealer told us that would not be possible because of the amount we owed on the Magnum. Suffice it to say that 2hrs later we were driving away in a new PT , leaving a verytroublsome Magnum behind. The Accident Garage will be the dealer we go to next time we are looking for a new car.
